It amuses me that Wildcard didn't put temperature insulation when you're riding a Mek, and you keep seeing, "You're cold, you should warm up soon," messages while fighting the Ice Titan, because apparently future humans could create a gigantic Mek with an energy sword, energy pistol, and artillery cannon on its back, but couldn't put a basic HVAC system in it to protect the pilot from temperature extremes outside the Mek. :P
I did this last week and the same exact issues, except my desert titan moved a LOT more....turning, twisting, tail slapping. Never got it, even after over 3 hours and multiple heals on the 30K health quetz. Forest titan despawned mid fight, and had tribmates help me tame a gamma ice titan. Another 3 hour battle and then the thing DIED soon after taming. These things are the hardest and most frustrating.

someone else said this already but ride a megachelon (big turtle) under the Ice & Forest titans. They bounce about on top of it but cant move. Its works well and is easy
The tek quetzal from genesis pt 2 was actually never tamed because you knocked out but then while you waited for it to starve some dire wolves came and ruined the tame. 😂
for the Forest titan, you could name him Oberon (the fairy king), and for the Ice titan you can name him Kuraokami (the dark water dragon patron, basically the closest you can get to an ice dragon from actual myths) and the Desert titan can be named Aether (the Greek Primeval god of the Upper Air)
you might be able to find an ice dragon in asian mythos, shinto is a good place to look (also the forest titan could be named ygdrasil, after the norse tree of life)
Drag weight apparently effects of the aggro of titans and they’ll target who’s the heaviest. An example here would be a mek, stego, and a rex but due to its extreme weight, the mek will targeted. Not just because the mek weighs the most, but it’s aware that it can deal the most damage.
Not really, they just prioritize the player and then lock on a focus on a single target until its dead, occasionally attacking a nearby creature they arent even targetting.
I know it isnt your favorite series but can we please just get a video from you with the updated information on Ultimate Ark? really looking forward to the conclusion.
Never gonna forget that one time I spent 5-ish hours solo taming the ice titan using a snow owl and a sniper only for it to get stuck on a rock and get shredded by turrets. Fun times.

I built a 1 X 1 box on my quets and ran into the same issue on the last node, I removed the roof and it started to target me again. something about having your player not exposed to the sky, blocks it from the lighting attack under the body for the last node.
This will get lost but 1. Don't draw to center you can alpha even hitting a few body shots with cannon shells, center seems to drop the level you get 2. Put a tank tame under ice Titan so it doesn't move around as much 3. Approx 8 perfect cannon shells per node is needed (take 30-40 per titan) Tamed them all in the last 2 months so recent info
Ice titan was turning right when you tried to rocket him, because you became hostile. Hostile targets/players are priority and Brachi was passive closest target/player's belonging aka second priority target
Don’t ever make a titan leave far from the arena, it ruins the taming of it. Also use a snow owl for desert titan, as soon as the flock targets you just fly straight down. It’s also a lot faster of a way to tame it

For the Ice Titan I wonder if having a bunch of Rexes of whatever with a ton of health set to passive would work to keep his attention off of the player while taming?
I wonder if the andrewsarchus' turret saddle will make it easier to solo tame the ice titan, since it seems pretty fast and it doesn't have to stop to shoot like the velonasaur
you basicly only need ice titan and 25 gigas per boss fight. 10-17 die per fight. 5-6 near the boss leg spawn 10 gigas spread around to clean the spawns and 10 near the wall after the boss does its "push blow" since these 15 will be thrown out of the arena mostly, or killed. thats it. ice titan just tanks and gigas do dmg. when i was watching you first time i got so scared of how many you sent into fight, but actually its just 25 per battle. Granted if giga bite does 7k. Its quite possible too.
They really destroyed this game apparently. I stopped in 2018, started when it first released in early access. Was fantastic other than the crashing. Felt like a true survival game. This looks like some stupid robocop shit.

god i remember when ark was just "tame cool dino, build big base" and then they came out with scorched earth and slowly more and more DLCs and in that time i stopped playing. now i'm coming back to it and im overwhelmed by the updated lore + complicated new expansion maps + wtf is tek and it almost feels like a whole new game.
I don't understand the point of titan having platforms on them when tamed when their temporary tames on default. What's the point. Sure irs cool if you have feed raid dinos enabled, Mega sky base and all that but bruh.

For some reason whenever I exit my sp my ice titan reverts into gamma, i tamed it at alpha and have forced tamed a new one but it just does the same thing when I exit the world

Walk a giant turtle underneath the ice and forest titan. They get stuck and it's an easy tame

You can build a Trap for it and then tame.
