- Leaders from 49 African nations are in Washington, D.C., this week for a three-day summit organized by the Biden administration. The U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit comes as the United States is trying to counter the growing influence of China and Russia in Africa. On Monday, national security adviser Jake Sullivan announced a pledge of $55 billion in economic, health and security support for Africa over the next three years. President Biden is also expected to express support for the African Union to join the G20 and to push for the United Nations Security Council to include a permanent member from Africa. The summit in Washington comes as parts of Africa grapple with crises including the climate emergency and political instability, with the past two years seeing coups in Mali, Sudan, Burkina Faso and Guinea. "China is definitely looming in the background" of the summit, says Lina Benabdallah, an assistant professor of politics at Wake Forest University. We also speak with anthropologist Samar Al-Bulushi with the University of California, Irvine, who notes that Biden's summit comes "at a time when Africa's geostrategic significance is on the rise and at a time when U.S. influence on the continent is on the decline."

When the US Foreign Secretary Rex Tillerson traveled to Africa to warn African nations against working with China, he landed in an airport built by China, then he traveled on a road built by China, before he arrived in a hall built by China. And he told the people: “Do not work with China”. When African countries deal with China, they get tangible assets. When Africa countries deal with the West, they need to be privatized before any further talks, otherwise they are dismissed by given a lecture on human rights. And if the country has oil, the IMF and World Bank would come and give the loan, and Exxon/BP/Shell would take the oil. And if the country has oil and the leaders have big ambitions, e.g. Gaddafi’s pan-African currency and Saddam Hussein’s drop of the dollar in oil trades, bombs made by Raytheon would be dropped in the countries, the leaders would be killed, then US contractors would be moved in to “rebuild” the country, the IMF and World Bank would come and give the loan, and Exxon/BP/Shell would take the oil. When China helps Africa to build, the West accused China of setting up “debt traps”. In 2021 G7 Summit, the US slapped themselves in the face by announcing the “Build Back Better World”(B3W) plan to “compete” with China. One year later, nothing was built. Instead, in 2022 G7 Summit, the US announced the “Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment” (PGII), another political mouthpiece to “compete” with China. Hahaha.

First of all, no nation is a true friend there is no friendship in foreign policy every single one of them seeks self interest if anyone tells you otherwise they are lying that’s not a bad thing that’s part of business and politics. Also richness comes from Education until you have it you will never be independent now that said this is a great opportunity for African countries if the west really decides to ditch Asian oil they may turn to you but they’ll only do that if you are able to give them a well rounded and stabilized market, so you need to prepare for that, you need to start working on stabilizing oil and gas markets and get yourselves attractive if the west really decides to ditch Asian oil it will depend on how reliable you would be and this could be a gift from god to it would be a golden opportunity to enter exponentially in the oil and gas business Africa may well be able to take over and replace the all Asian oil and gas business that is extremely lucrative and with that revenue invest hard on education, health and later in industries but first you need to develop better education and health and raise the quality of life because without those you won’t get no industrialization. The Asians are scared about the fact that you could replace their oil and gas markets they will try to pressure you to not do it as they have a lot to lose on table if you do so.
