Coloured and mixed aren't the same thing. There are a lot of mixed South Africans (like Trevor Noah) who identify as black rather than colored because they were not raised in coloured community. Coloured is an ethnicity of intergenerational racially mixed people in Southern Africa. They've developed their own culture distinct from other racial groups in South Africa
They are basically the Creole population of Southern Africa. I remember how the apartheid system created tiers of color complexions. Modeled after what we see in Latin America. It’s always the same game, with a different name.
We just came back from SA. What a beautiful place, Mpumalanga, Emamlheni, Cape Town, Table Mountain, Cape Hout...so beautiful. But even more than the landscape, the people are beautiful. ❤
Killed me when he was changing his accent 😂
People in the comments making it unnecessarily complicated. Yes Coloured and Mixed IS the same thing genetically, but NOT the same thing socially. Coloured People in the South African context are those mixed race people who have developed a distinct cultural and ethnic identity. End of discussion.
Czech you are living my African travel dream…Big Ups to Africa and all the people of African descent
Great job young man for showing other parts of our mother land. I must say you've really grown a lot in doing your videos and what you're covering.
How blessed we as South African citizens are to reside on the most beautiful African continent ❤
I was really laughing so hard when you were on the side of that mountain. No way in hell I would have went. Lolololol You’re brave. That was so funny. Thanks for the up close and personal South African village.
Thank you for posting this video. You guys have answered my question. I am half black and white and when I went to Australia, I was in Perth and Fremantle and people would ask me. Am I from South Africa and I kept telling them no I’m not. I’m from America and now looking at this video you guys have answered the question. Thank you. These people look like me. If this makes any sense I hope because I’m talking into my phone but I just want to say thank you for this video and I know this is about four months old thank you over here on the big island of Hawaii.
Thank you for this journey into another side of SA. I just recently found and subscribed to your channel. This is awesome to see without leaving home safe travel and I’ll keep you in prayer as you journey on.
Thank you so much for bringing in depth information and footage to us...Much Love ❤
Czech its impressive how you are able to transport the viewer to the location. Love your intro theme too. Keep up the good work.....
Beautiful South Africa 🇿🇦 🥰
South Afrika is a beautiful and complex place. As Caribbean born man that had dreadlocks when I visited Jo Burg and Cape town I was shocked to see so many Rastafarian men and women there. They bigged me up continuously where ever I went, It was like they knew this brother wasn't from here but he is one of us. I found the Division between Blacks and Cape Colored baffling coming from western society where the 1 drop rule seemingly applies. I was educated by a black South African as to the racial hierarchy , his direct quote ( on top are the whites, then Indians, then Coloreds , then the DOGS, than the blacks ). So that makes the colored people feel as though they are in place in society than the black Africans . As Bob Marley said BRAINWASH EDUCATION !
Thank you Czech for bringing us something NEW and not seen before by most! 😀👍🏾
Czech, my heart is full of joy and pain, seeing my people and that PRECIOUS mountain. I've never been able to experience the place I was born in "CAPE TOWN", Having left with my family for Australia in the 70's, my heart's in pain, never having been back since... 😢😍
Thanks for showing us these communities during the blistering cold 🥶 my brother. We appreciate your commitment and dedication 🙏
Lovely share, when i was growing up in Kenya,i was convinced South Africa is "abroad"I must admit the country is really beautiful and thanks to your shares, i get to see the real thing.Your video is brilliant without fluff filled or "eye foltered" for what the eyes wants to see.Cheers Bro
my goodness the people and the landscape are beautiful....keep sharing your journeys
