These are all so beautiful and fun. I wish KBShimmer put better photos of the swatching on their website. Their photos are very underwhelming and never do the polishes justice. I like using their polishes too because they apply so stinkin' easy!
Honestly I feel like so many of their gorgeous polishes are impossible to capture without video haha!
@@KelliMarissa Yes. And, I know that their photos are not professionally done. While I appreciate and love to see how the polishes look on their customers, it would be a plus for KBS to show a professional swatch. Thank goodness they have you to review and show their true splendor. :D
I was just gonna say. The pics are ok when you click through, but the first image you see looks like it was taken with a potato.
I'm so glad you said this! I clicked through to buy some and literally did not recognize the polish pictured next to the array of stills from Kelli's shoot. Like....why do you suck so bad at that? It's literally your product, be better! I probably wouldn't have bought three of the 6 I added to my cart based on their imagery alone, so thank you Kelli and jeesh, terrible job KBS.

Dressed to Krill reminds me of my all time favorite nail polish shade from when I was a teenager back in the late 80s/early 90s.

I totally agree that they have one of the most beginner friendly formulas! Their price point is incredibly competitive (though I do wish that their cremes were a bit lower priced than the special shades). Their iridescent shades are always top notch so I'm definitely most excited about What a Pearl Wants! I loved this video, Kelli! Your swatch and reviews have been a huge inspiration for my own nail polish content!

I feel like KB Shimmer does glitter really well. They actually have two of my favorites that are spring beachy vibes, Salt Water Sassy and Starfishing for Compliments.
They definitely do! I'm always impressed with their glitter polishes!
Dressed To Krill matches the azaleas in my front yard, so I definitely agree that they went with more nature inspired yet vibrant colors.
This is the kind of color I love to see in springtime! Brand should take note haha
I collect pins when I travel too! It's the one souvenir that I always make sure I get. Pins are tiny, inexpensive, and take up pretty much no room in my luggage.
Kbshimmer never disappoints. Every formula is perfection!

i wasn't sure what to expect from this collection but Current Affairs and Get Off My Tail are standouts. The flakies too, and also Shell We? all seem similar to things i own, but just with a little more of a lighter spring vibe that i wasn't expecting to like so much.
i always want to collect souvenirs from my travels. after collecting various items and never having room for them (pins, figurines, shot glasses, etc), my go-to souvenir item is a fridge magnet. super easy to display without taking up space and actually practical to have around.
The first creams i ever tried from KB Shimmer were in the last mystery box that I bought! I got a bright pink and a lime green and they were stunning for pigmentation and application. Definitely a formula I would purchase again. Very excited to see it come back in this collection.
I would really love to see them do cremes more regularly!
"What a Pearl wants" looks beautiful and I do love the double meaning of the name, there is a song that Christina Aguilera did called "What a girl wants" and it is a really good song.

I loooove KB Shimmer so much and i audibly gasped at the first swatch! I need every single one of these. They never seem to disappoint! I need to reup on my reflective topper from KB Shimmer (Out of Sequins) since I put that topper on absolutely everything lol so I’ll more than likely add 3 or 4 of these to my purchase 😩😍😭
A lot of these are so pretty. Outside of nail polish I have a makeup, but I think large by normal people standards, but I think with makeup people pretty small. Same with most things I love and own, I don't collect them. However, I collect dragon themed decor, (statues, art, pillows, etc) and art in general quite a bit. Art is pricy so I get it pretty slowly but I'm always adding to it.

Have you been in Vegas for a summer? I'm a native Nevadan and you may hate our summers even though you're looking forward to warmer weather! On a different note, I've only been into nail polish (because of ilnp) for about 6 months now and your channel has taught me a lot and has saved me money watching the swatch videos so I know what it will look like! I hope you enjoy Las Vegas and remember when it comes to gambling, the house almost ALWAYS wins
Yesss we've been here for almost two years now and honestly I love the summers so far, it's pretty much the reason we moved lol 😅 I know a lot of people who grew up here (and people from California haha) don't love the heat though! You must have come from somewhere reeeeeally cold. I told my husband that I was addicted to nail polish (I'm . he laughed. Easy safe hobby. I just need to learn how to put it on nicely (I have watched one of your videos on that, but I should really watch more). I also love the look of gel and jellies. I watched one of your videos and caught a brief mention of the place you like to get your polish, but I can't find it again and didn't see what store it was. Where do you usually shop for your nail products, or should I say your favorite place to buy them?
tried this brand for the first time with a mani of RV There Yet? and Cruise Control and i'm hoooooked. absolutely need more. for the quality and amount you get the price can't be beat and the shades they come out with most brands can only dream of! i'll definitely be getting more.

I’m so impressed with this collection! I love KB Shimmer polishes so much and I also think they’re underrated. They have e so many beautiful specialty polishes I just don’t think of them for creams. That green doesn’t look at all minty to me but it’s a stunner for sure! Wish I had it for St Patrick’s Day nail art! I have a huge collection of polishes and crystals too! I just can’t get enough crystals and I got my son into them too so we can go to the local crystal shop and spend an hour easily!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and swatches! Love you!! ❤😍😅 💅
“Prone to collecting” is the perfect phrase. I totally get it. I have collections of nail polish, journaling/stationary supplies, paper crafting supplies, eyeshadow palettes, and Christmas ornaments (we try to add at least one every year). 😊

Thank you for your videos. I really appreciate them. I started wearing nail polish religious 4 months ago to stop my nail biting, and finding your videos has helped me navigate brands because my original experience with nail polish as a teen was lack luster with the main stream brands. I really love supporting indie brands, and the quality and effect selection is unmatched. I haven't tried KBShimmer yet but really want to now. Video idea if you think this would be feasible: I would love to see you pick out your top shades from your top brands and compare formulas. In this video you discussed how you find KBS as beginner friendly. Maybe you could award each brand with their most stand-out quality as like an award show. 😂 😅

Oh man, I love SO many of the polishes in this collection. Hopefully the ones I want will make it to an Aussie stockists (or maybe not, because my wallet cries every time I watch one of your videos!).
As for something I collect - I don’t actively collect them anymore, but I used to collect pencils. I have pencils from all around the world, from different ‘brands’ (Harry Potter, Warner Brothers, Disney, Hello Kitty etc). I have about 300 all up. I started collecting them when I was 8 after the school Principal let me pick something from his jar of fun items that he had for whenever kids were sent to his office for doing good work. It had a silver holographic covering.
My eldest niece collects pencils, so I’ve started to give her my collection. Every time I see her I give her one or two. She’s always so excited to see what the next ones will be.

I love your reviews! You have a way of explaining each polish with such detail and in a way I never would have thought or pictured it before. Not sure if I made sense...for instance...the first polish...would not have thought about it as fish/mermaid scales but once you said it, it elevated it some how.

I bought one of their iridescent flaky polishes in a recent collection (one of the winter collections maybe?), and I am OBSESSED. However, I don’t know that I could tell it from some of their other iridescent flaky polishes.
Dont get me wrong, if it means they always have some sort of iridescent flaky polish available, I’m here for it. I’m just saying that I feel like if you have one or two of them, you really don’t need more.
I love the first polish and the peachy one especially. And the iridescent flakies of course.

KBShimmer always makes beautiful polishes. I just love this collection, every polish is just stunning!! I agree about the beautiful and easy application - makes it so easy for anyone. I collect crystals as well. I also collect giraffe stuff, pins, shot glasses (from every state I have been to since I turned 21), and snowmen. I have tried to not really add to my snowmen and giraffes very often though....but I guess that goes to everything else besides nail polish, but mainly because I would need to actually get to go to more places.
Ooh I would love to collect shot glasses from places I've visited but it would probably be a waste because I don't drink 😂 but I always think they're so cute!!

Love this collection. Other than the bright pink that people can't get enough of, I don't have any like these in my collection. Mine doesn't quite match yours, but it's impressive enough to give that statement gravitas. There have been several great spring collections this year that don't have the typical approach, but this one excited me. I also love that you can see a difference between star glitters and the starfish option. I want to try What a Pearl Wants as a base for a dragonfly stamp. It Comes In Waves is great for this time of year. Isle be There shows off layers and depth! Shell We will look great in beach manis with some jellies. So. much. fun. P.S. These are nice. I like the variety because I am partial to crème polishes and I’m seeing a lot of shimmers and glitters lately, which is fine, but I enjoy seeing a crème in the collection.

I also collect eyeshadow palettes, i have a ton of (mostly star wars, but also old TMNT, a Jack Sparrow, The Crow and some Jeff Goldblum) action figures, Lego is also a huge thing for me. Select funko pops. Rocks. 😅😅
