My Luna roll is better than Not Forgotten. Yesterday I got a slide shot/opening shot with max range (full bore or hammer forge rifling…richot rounds…range masterwork (71 range to match Not Forgotten’s range). This is the true god roll with a range of 96 when slideshot and opening shot procs!)

TRUST ME you want the 5 out of 5 God Roll Luna that I have (Better then Not Forgotten) Full Bore...Ricochet Rounds...Range MW...Slideshot (+20 Range & Stability)...Opening Shot (+25 Range & 20 Aim Assistant) for 100 RANGE & 99 Aim Assistance (71 Base Range like Not Forgotten). This roll is better than any ROSE roll.

I love this game mode, but my ideal d2 was like OG mindbenders meta where abilities were limited and QuickDraw was a thing
I hated 180s too on pc but using it with eye of the storm felt crazy good for me but would of been so sick if they changed it to actual 140 recoil
I finally dropped a Godroll rose yesterday just before Lunas came out and I can see all the hype around it, not even sure I’m bothered about Lunas tbh and that’s coming from a controller player. As everyone says, the feel is a bit off with Lunas
Got hammer forged , ricochet rounds, encore and precision instrument with stability sadly but encore will boost my range with kills.
I played a couple games and I'm like oh no it's like a 180. I'll try again when I get a higher range roll but not so sure about it. Blast furnace on the other hand is straight nasty. I got keep away kill clip which makes 99 range 89 stability god tier. I'm hoping to get headseeker with rapid hit or kc so it will melt even faster

I noticed the same thing. He was Ego challenging and getting punished for pushing while he was weak, was barely playing the objective, separated from his teammates way too often, and would put himself at constant disadvantages by not picking up special. I mean, he even picked up heavy in the first match and didn’t even bother using it. It’s weird to see such a big name in the PVP community play like this.

Yeah 180 recoil is well managed with out reticle stickiness so luna’s feels divine to me. It’s working its way into competition with my austringer
Try it on roller. I remember only liking the recoil when I played on roller
I just realized this earlier this thing just straight flinches harder than other 140s because it has that 180 frame and we all know only good thing about 180s is that damn flinch
I also think mag howl makes the weapon dish out way more flinch, kind of like ace and memento mori

Same - I’m used to the high 120 recoil as well. Igneous does feel perfect

Magnificent two Taps. Precision better for neutral play. The gun has no recoil and it’s one of the few hand cannons that’s better on controller, it takes getting used to NOT having recoil and not try to compensate for it when it doesn’t exist

I spent alot of season of plunder (the only season i played d2 not including the last half of this one) using ace and other 140s like eyasluna
Man that recoil messes with me, i like the gun the rolls are fun but that recoil feels wrong XD

It has non existent recoil and yet I really don't like the way that weapon feels. i hate 180 recoil animation because I'm conditioned to 140 recoil. just feels weird

Sweats hate that the gun frame hides the body.
Casuals love it bc the screen isn't jarring back and forth.
The weapon blocks your line of sight to the enemy. Normal 140s move out the way between shots, allowing you to see what you’re shooting.
This weapon moves so slightly that it just ends up kicking right in front of where the enemies are on your screen. So you’re not going to actually what your shooting half the time.

I don’t think precision instrument is gonna be the play because you can’t 2 crit 1 body. Mag howl two taps if you have 2 mag bullets and two crit 1 body with one. I have two rolls one with precision and slide and the other eye of the storm and mag howl. I prefer the mag howl one.
Question: how accurate would 90 AE Luna's be? (icarus + extended mag + knucklehead radar)
U don’t need that much ae as long as u have 60 your shots go exactly to what u aim at

Awesome vid, Pandi! The gun does have odd recoil patterns and it took me a minute to adjust. LH and NF were sunset and I had no real reason to touch them. Sadly, this game mode is ruined by the usual nonsense that makes pvp a nightmare...roaming packs and pulse rifles sitting far back like it's Battlefield! Just reminds me no matter what bungie integrates to aid pvp, the Destiny community will make the effort fruitless...

@panduh could you put NF on and play banner and see if it’s any better because personally I preferred the consistency of the old howl ie 2 head 1 body this is stupid imo if you can two tap let us have the old mag howl perk on the NF n make it exotic
Mag howl got changed on all guns. Unfortunately, NF has the new version as well.

I sort of don't like the muzzle flip animation. Makes the shots feel weaker, and you're just shooting slowly for no reason

I don't think it's slept on man, it's the most popular perk on Iggy, which is probably the most used hc. Either way I agree with you, it does feel very nice.
you still need 3 headshots with PI
@jonathancotter7429 Yeah you're not wrong. But the perk is to help you be able to engage further and kill overshield Titans and Warlocks. Igneous essentially could 3 tap at 43 plus meters. Just gotta land the headshots

PI doesn't change ttk or forgiveness on 140's
It allows for 2c1b and also extends the effective 3 tap range. So yes, PI changes the forgiveness.

sadly slideshot mag howl. it doesnt proc mag howl with the slide reload just to good to be true T_T got it on third drop
That means you can farm more kills and store more bullets = more 2 taps for when you manually reload.

nah the guns recoil is fine, the 180 recoil and maghowl is what made luna and nf what they are if they changed it they wouldn't be the same at all, and we'd just get another copy paste 140 but with the nostalgia name ontop we already have so many amazing 140s having a few be different like rose and luna is good
Firstly it’s not a horizontal recoil. It’s a vertical recoil that’s virtually nonexistent. Secondly you’re using mouse be keyboard. Try it with controller.
Icarus dash, boost dodge, and hunter dodge, should all be allowed in this game mode, and it would be amazing. Make it comp baby
I can't believe you're complaining so much about a gun with almost no recoil. How can you prefer 120s that jump to the sky after every trigger pull? Even standard 140s have enough recoil to throw off many players.
Why do you think many players avoid using handcannons? It just seems strange to me, but ultimately, it’s all about personal preference.
Personally hate it - hate the way it feels. And that's probably because i despise 180 animation.
