I bought this a few years ago and it works great!! I homeschool my kids and compared to other reading programs this was an amazing deal. It really is a very basic and established program, easy for the parent to understand and implement and quick for the child to do. My twins were very behind in everything but they were able to learn and understand the concept of reading with this program. But not only were they able to understand how to read but I was blown away by how fast it works, your essentially teaching your kids exactly what you see his kids doing in the video. My mainstream kindergarten child is sailing through and understanding everything!!! I did not try to teach any of my children when they were younger (before school age) but I could totally see a the year old learning to read with this program. The nice thing too is that you can teach them anywhere, it doesn't have to feel like a lesson. Also I have emailed the creator in the past with questions and he answered back very quickly!!! 10/10 would recommend this, for advanced younger kids and struggling readers both!!! Hands down the best thing I've bought in our homeschool journey to date!!!!

I understand that not everyone has extra funds to purchase the things they need, but if your child/children struggle with reading or if you would like to teach your younger children this is one of the cheaper options out there if not the cheapest. It's not just books to read but he wrote out detailed instructions for you, step by step in what to say and do to help your child to read. I can not, in good conscience, send you something for free when the creator is selling it for minimal profits himself. If you honestly can not afford to buy it outright maybe you can message the owner and ask for a discount/payments or something. I hope everything works out for you and if your personal financial situation changes in the future hope you would consider purchasing this program.

@Oskar winters That's mean to say. I don't know what it is that gives you that impression, whether it's because my review was positive or because I wasn't willing to give it away. Truthfully I felt like the video gave off an infomercial vibe which made me hesitate when I bought it. I am currently working with my third child on this program though, as it went above and beyond my expectations. When this video came up in my newsfeed again and I saw that it still didn't have any real reviews on it, just people leaving comments about the video itself, I decided to leave one. As a homeschooler I've always purchased things based off of RUclips reviews so I figured I could leave a proper comment on here about the actual program for those who are genuinely interested, as I would have found it helpful. Maybe I should change my wording though if it's coming off as fake, I just wanted people to have a better idea of how they would be using it if they bought it themselves.

We got this program for my daughter about a month after Kindergarten started. We initially tried another reading program for the first month of Kindergarten but my daughter would complain every time she went on the app.
But this program really helps with my daughter. The program contains amazing techniques for this to happen.
Before this program, I noticed that she was very shy about answering questions from the teacher and also had a hard time retaining what she learned in language arts. Now, we are 4 weeks into the program and I noticed a big improvement. She can read beginner books, can spell, and can decode words easier. She even writes her own sentences for fun, walks around the house sounding out words for fun, and even asks for reading lessons. This program is very easy to follow, even while taking care of the baby. We now have a confident reader and student, and I couldn’t be more happy!

My daughter has moderate to severe autism. We tried different programs, but they were too complicate for her to learn.
This program is simple, and easy for her to follow.
She has very limited attention , so I just work with her for 1-3 min each times. We carry the printout materials with us to park/shopping mall or everywhere. She learns to read for couple min in between her playtime. It is slow progress, but it is huge achievement.
This program works well for my daughter.

Reading is life, man. I can't imagine not being able to read, and as a child I was voracious for information (still am, though the type of information has changed), and by the time I was in third grade had been through just about every book in the school library. If you want your child to learn and get ahead in life, this is definitely the best way. I love how this method incorporates engagement, not just "teaching". Engagement definitely helps when one is learning, especially a back and forth engagement.

This program really works! I ordered it 2 months ago and started my 4 year old on it, followed through the lessons step by step and am happy to say that my son is actually reading words! We are only half way through the program so he still has a long way to go, but 2 months ago he didn't know any words at all, compared to now where he knows how to read simple short sentences.
I am now going through the program with my 6 nearly 7 year old, who can read but want him to get better as he tends to guess words and is lazy at sounding out long words, so I'm hoping this will help him sort that out.
I also have just started my 2 year old on it and am eager to see where she will be at by the end of this!

The key to all these statistics lies on the idea of 'Manners before knowledge'. When I was in college, I had a subject in Psychology. There, I learned that your attitude and character were built from the age of 0-9 years old. Now, Japanese applied this and took time to nurture discipline as it is the very foundation to excellence. Hats off!

OH MY GOD. My 2yo and 4yo can't read before and now my 2yo can read better than my 4yo because we started with her first since my 4yo is taking early pre-school. We thought she would be fine with school, but we were wrong! School was much slower for some reason vs when my 2yo starts to read! I am so shocked to see my almost-3yo read basic words that I started giving the same materials for my 4yo and now they BOTH are getting better than before! This is not a joke, this is UNBELIEVABLY real. I am so glad that they are loving it and so proud of myself and them that now they can slowly learn easier as they age! I know my half brother who is 8 still struggle to read (I don't live with them), I wished my step mom did something to advance his problem with learning because he is a slow learner. I don't blame kids being slow, it can be normal too, but at the same time it can also means you're not putting effort to give them the resource needed to learn. Only been 7 months into this and I'm so happy that I got GREAT RESULTS! Thanks again!!!! The more I see them read the more I realized alot of kids grow much faster in the early stage, like if they're introduced with a piano at 3 then they're likely to be prodigy by 10. It's that simple and it works! But I'm not gonna force them to do that, but if they love it then they love it! This is gold, I will definitely pass this down to my grandkids if I ever have any!

I'm an Asian living in Africa. My kids go to a normal government funded school. When I bought this programme, I wasn't really sure it would work. It took me almost an year to go back to it and try it out! within a week my 6 year old son who was only alphabet literate progressed tremendously. Its just a wonderful programme that is so well planned and organised that the child flows with the rhythm of the programme.I'm so amazed and surprised as to how well he has done. I've also applied it on my 7 year old who was used to guessing reading, so far I've had great results but I'm still struggling with her.

Natalie not all children...I learned with 5 years old by "myself" like most of my generation with comics of Monica's gang (Mauricio de Souza). My husband too...When I was at school I learned English and a little of Japanese because my father is japanese. But only now I'm back to study Japanese because of my husband's interest. And Portuguese is one of the most difficult language to learn. Japanese is very easy close to Portuguese and English.

I'm 16 now and in the 11th grade. I'm taking a few advanced classes but I want to take more. Compared some of my elite peers Im barely on the map. They not only take more advanced classes that are even more of a higher level but they are doing better than I am in a regular level class. One thing that they all have in common is that they started when they were young. There parents and some teachers as well, nurtured them as young kids to get where they are today. My biggest regret is that i wasnt nurtured in that aspect. I wish my parents had done that and id most likely be on their level now as well. I love school and cant wait to get to go to college. I think every parent should teach their child at the youngest age. Public education is not enough, teaching ur child when they are in their early stages of life is highly important and makes a huge impact on their later life in high school when advanced classes really matter because it gives them that boost. Right now its hard for me to catch up to my peers and take higher advanced classes. When i get married and have kids im going to teach my child how to read, write, do math, science, music, art etc. when they are young. Im not going to sit them in front of a tv, im going to teach them myself because i know what excellent opportunities i missed out on in high school. I feel every parent should do this, our kids could be soo brilliant if every parent did this and than public education will improve if their are more smart kids. I believe the youth are the future so we must help them and teach them as much as possible to give them the widest of opportunities for their life and for them to lead and shape a better world.

*Our Children-Learning-Reading program has been designed primarily with 2 to 7 year olds in mind. But that said, anyone older than 7* *years of age will greatly benefit from this program as well. As a teacher, Jim uses this program even with older G1 and G2 students.*
*Also If your child has reading difficulties, or is behind in their reading levels, this course will definitely help. The reason why is because* *the concept you will learn in this course can be used by anyone to decode any word and read sentences.*
*So this program can be used by toddlers, preschoolers, kindergartners, elementary school children, or any younger or older child and* *even adults.*
*So The basic principles upon which this program was designed can teach anyone to read effectively, regardless of their age.*

Teaching children older than 3 can be engaging and effective with the right approaches. Here are some strategies:
      1. **Interactive Learning**: Use games, hands-on activities, and interactive lessons to keep their attention.
      2. **Encourage Curiosity**: Ask open-ended questions and allow them to explore topics that interest them.
      3. **Use Visuals**: Incorporate pictures, videos, and other visual aids to reinforce concepts.
      4. **Routine and Structure**: Establish a consistent routine to help them feel secure and understand what to expect.
      5. **Storytelling**: Use stories to convey lessons and moral values in a relatable way.
      6. **Encourage Social Interaction**: Promote group activities to develop social skills and teamwork.
      7. **Incorporate Play**: Use play-based learning to make education fun and relatable.
      8. **Set Clear Goals**: Establish achievable goals to help children feel a sense of accomplishment.
By creating a supportive and stimulating environment, you can foster a love for learning in children older than 3.

    • @melmorris134

Roy Braden I disagree. My daughter was reading 13 months because we never sat down, we had laminated letters and words blutac to the floor and all over the walls, which helped her walking, wed play games for her to find the word parrot, she’d find the word and then her parrot sock puppet would tickle her or dog or hippopotamus etc... she never wanted to stop playing but we cut it to twenty minutes. It helped with her sleep because she was exhausted from all the dancing crawling, walking bouncing and of course the amount of tickle rewards. She never had any candy until five when she started school so no bribery other than rewards of fun interaction.

Thank you so much for this extremely useful video. As a language instructor, I've always believed that teaching youngsters to read would be possible, and that mastering reading would kickstart or strengthen other cognitive processes just as well. However, I have never attempted to use any reading strategies with very young children for fear of negative consequences, such as making youngsters averse to reading as a result of problems and failure. Then there's this program that makes everything appear so easy and pleasurable. I'm excited to give it a try, and as an expert in this sector, I strongly advise everyone to do so.

*The CLR program is NOT a physical book, and is solely available in the digital format. The program comes with a wide variety of media* *files including videos, MP3 audio clips, as well as text based materials, which are immediately available for download upon payment. So* *no matter where you live in the world, you can order it and download it.*
*By using a digital format the need to wait for the product to arrive in the mail is eliminated. There is no requirement to wait for days or weeks, and you can get started right away.*
*Also there are no expensive shipping and handling fees and because there are no overhead expenses for the developer, you benefit from* *the low price of the product itself.*

My son has ADHD and we suspect high functioning autism. We tried a variety of reading plans, this one has been easy for him to follow and he's loving his reading classes

Love love love! I am now using this program with my third child because it worked so well with the first two. My oldest is dyslexic and struggled with her words and spelling. This helped so much with that. The people or person has always been easy to reach with quick responses to my questions. Being a mom of three makes it a bit tough when they all need help or when I just wanted to get them started so they have a leg up in school. Tutoring is expensive, sometimes it mentally exhausting. I appreciate and I am so grateful for Children Learning Reading. Helpful for me and beneficial to my children. Thank you for sharing what works for you. It also works for me.

It seems like a deal worth paying for. For the child to be able to learn how to read fast this could be a best option. We parents don't just expect our son to learn to read fast but we also expect that she talk fluently as much as possible for her age. I will give it a try and hope to see results for my daughter.

do you suggest using this for newborns? I know I'm jumping the gun a little bit early, my son was only born last month. But I want to do everything I can to put them in the right position to be successful at what age would it be suitable to start teaching them how to read?

      *Hello lakehighland,*
*Your child needs to be able to speak more clearly before you start our program on him. This normally happens around age 2.*

I was taught phonics and homeschooled my son the same vs sight words. Learning phonics is a skill that school systems needs to implement verses sight words, explaining why the literacy rate is so low. Phonics helps not reading but speech, as well.

This is so true. I went to a religious school and the babies in pre-k were reading at 3 and they could articulate themselves much better than other 3 year olds. I also notice it helped with social interaction between the big kids and 3 year olds. There seems to be a little more “respect” you get as a peer though you are much younger when your speech is up to par

My 5 year old daughter and I have been doing this program for a few weeks now and it's amazing to see the progress! Because she is mostly familiar with sounds of letters I have been able to move her along a bit faster than someone just starting out. My favorite aspect of Children Learning Reading is that where I could not quite organize my own lessons and teach things in a logical order, they could. My kiddo was reading nothing before and can now read many words and sentences. It is absolutely worth trying and if you just follow the steps, it will work.
