I remember that - I was sitting there a few rows back from her and it was incredibly moving. I couldn't ask for a better graduation.
i cry anytime i see anything like this because i have alot of family and friends that never made it back and it just makes me happy for those who get to see and spend time with their family and my cousin might be coming home in june definetly looking forward to that

Only in the south do you see something this amazing where a civilian school honors and the people there truly appreciate the service of our men and women overseas. Go to the West Coast and New England areas, you won't find something like this. Sad fact. But that's why I love the south and Tennessee is my 2nd most favorite state in the Union (only to my beloved home of Texas)....besides, without Tennessee, Texas would never have come to exist the way it did....
wow that is awesome....i know how it feels to have a member of your family not come to a graduation ceremony...i recently graduated from high school and my grandfather couldn't make it because he is in the hospital....yes, he still is....and i graduated 3 weeks ago.....
once he said "that is until today" i got goosebumps as well
We in Knoxville may have differed opinions about foreign policy, war and politics. We still, however, respect our troops for their commitments.

Hey I spoke well of this happy moment, all im saying is the people defending us with their lives often get shortchanged by the now bizarre political climate, didn't mean to hurt the moment, I watch these all the time and love every one of these videos - they make me proud of my country unlike our leadership of late -- what I said is not bull---- we need to turn things around or were in trouble as a free nation - please take it serious.
