Where is the I/M Readiness function on the K10? I can not locate it anywhere. Only had the K10 for 2 days now but it is not in an obvious spot. My 2014 Autel AL619 has that feature in an easy to locate place.
Use OBD2 to diagnose directly. The decoder will not be listed separately.
@@kingbolen_official not sure you answer my question. The I/M Readiness function I am speaking of is to know if your vehicle has all modules completed so you can take your vehicle in for emissions testing.

Hi i have a question, i see i can still purchase thinktool pros 2022 brand new on some websites, will it still have 2 years free updates starting from when i buy it and register?

Will the tool remain operational after 2 year free update offer expire? For example: i am a DIY and have several pre 2024 cars,thus dont need all the newest and greatest soft. Second situation : lets imagine that tool remains operational after 2 years and i opt to buy a 2027 car and now need new software. How much it will cost me plus minus(you can give a quote for current year since i understand it is hard to know what will happen exactly in 3 years)

Hi, sir. After the 2-year free period expires, the tool can continue to run and only the previous version can be used. The latest and greatest software will not be updated. functions that require an Internet connection cannot be used. Our current renewal package is $399/year.

I was disappointment to find out that this scanner does not support Body Control Module programming for my 2007 Mazda 6
Does the scanner not support this or does the car not support it?
@@eostrike Kingbolin K10 only supports module programming for the PCM and ECM. No special function or programming for the BCM. The scanner does even read the BCM. I have a blinker malfunction, I can't even do an actuation test. Only way for me to install a new BCM is to use Forscan software on my laptop. Other then that it is a beautiful device. The car is a little old prob why it wont work. The K10 is prob similar to the LAUNCH X431 PRO3 ACE
@@mjk9674 thanks for that info too. I've tried it on. Y 2005 Tundra,. 2015 Honda Fit, 2017 Honda CRV and 2017 Ford CMAX Energi and it seems pretty cool. For activation tests each of these cars would do certain things where the older ones would not. But I belive this is a limitation of the vehicle, not the tool itself.
