As a former camp counselor I cannot imagine being friends with children. You can play and have fun with them absolutely- but you are an adult you have a responsibility and a duty to keep them safe. There’s a level of power you have over them that disallows any sort of friendship to exist honestly. You can be a mentor, a confidant someone they trust and have faith in.

I’m super late but the funniest thing about that is that she already had the copyright automatically, officially registering it comes with extra benefits but just by posting it on RUclips she automatically received the rights for it. Also all the commentary videos about it fall under fair use so literally the only thing she accomplished by registering for a copyright was make herself look even worse. That’s amazing

Being autistic, I often have trouble telling when *I'm* the butt of the joke, and her series "Haters Back Off" is a perfect example of that. As a kid and even until a few years ago I loved and related to that show and it stuck with me that a character could be like me, and now knowing how awful a character she was and that she was making fun of autism has been an awful wake up call.
Finding out that the creator of a thing you like actually hates people like you and created the work to mock them feels awful. That's something I can understand, though probably not in the same way you do. I'm trans, so I've seen a lot of media that calls people like me horrible things. It's never a good feeling, and I'm sorry that it's happened to you over and over again (which is what it sounds like from your comment).
