That dentist's teeth creeps me the hell out, natural teeth are not that color. Veneers are such an unnecessary risk, as there is a chance of mistakes or malpractise ruining your natural teeth. Her teeth could be perfectly healthy and clean, in which case he's saying "your smile is ugly, I could fix that" which is predatory for a practitioner, and just an asshole thing to say in general.

People that think everyone has to have perfectly shaped, sized and placed teeth ate just idiots. I got mine straightened because i had a very bad overbite that made my bite off and unable to fully close my mouth, but shaming people into fixing them just because of a few gaps or one crooked tooth is ridiculous.

Maybe they live in a very dangerous environment and it wouldn’t be safe for the kid. There are a lot of reasons why people don’t want and can’t have kids. It could distract them from their career, maybe they’re at high risk of getting postpartum depression if they decided to have a kid. People get so scared at the thought of other people not having kids, it’s very confusing to me.

I have the same tooth “issue” as that barista, I have had people make comments on my teeth and every single one of them has been as giant a**hole. My teeth are strong and allow me to chew food and speak clearly, they’re good. “Fixing them” would mean months of shifting teeth, inserting metal rods into my face and putting implants over those (implants that have to be replaced multiple times over your lifetime). And if that’s what someone WANTS to do, that’s totally chill. If not, also totally okay.

My teeth grew in such a way that I have very prominent fangs. I've had people (mostly dentists, of course lol) constantly telling me I could and should get them fixed.

This weird obsession with ugly overly white fake looking chiclet teeth has been 100% created by social media influencers and it’s disturbing. These young beautiful women with some perfectly normal healthy teeth are being told they’re wrong and bad, so they’re getting them shaved down and porcelain put over them that have a less than 10 year life, meaning they’ll need to be replaced (if they don’t break off your actual teeth in the process). So many of these young people are going to be toothless by the time they’re 35.
The young girl that lifeguards at my pool was telling me her friend who had perfectly straight white teeth, wanted veneers and used her college loan money to get them, about a week after she broke 2 of them down to the root because it was a bad veneer job. She had to get 2 of her front teeth pulled and go months waiting for her gums to heal to get implants that like you said will not last as long as her real teeth would’ve

The Dr. Kenny video reminded me of the time I was in a store, standing outside of a dressing room by myself waiting for someone, when this couple walks by me and the man stopped, looked at me and concernedly said “you have a lot of moles.” And I politely smiled and said yeah, resisting the urge to run away, and then he goes “I’m a dermatologist, I can help with that” and the wife was looking at me with sympathy because she could obviously tell I was uncomfortable and I was just like “Thank you, I’m good, I have a dermatologist” and I walked away. What can often make the latter even worse as well is that most people fight over something that ends up being miscommunications or fallacies that are easy/common to fall for (humanity seems to easily fight over minor flaws and mistakes). Normally I'd say that these things are less common IRL than online - but sadly, in my experience and the experiences of some of my fellow neurodivergent friends/peers, people tend to bring that sh*t out to the IRL socialization as well... -_-
The nothing wrong group is kind of split there, mainly on context of things that there doesn't seem to be information on as of yet.
That the entire thing, supposedly, happened in an 18+ age restricted chat function is a lot that makes me wonder about the specifics there and what is allowed to be said since this was entirely started from an Ex-Twitch Employee who might have an axe to grind for it becoming public.

There's several stories of teens getting fake ID's and ending up in things where they shouldn't be and it completely screws over the person who had reason to believe that it was a legal and consensual event...either because police are involved, or the teen did it entirely to target someone they believe that they can blackmail for the rest of their life.
There's also the entire thing where Twitch settled this out and paid the guy his contract, which, if he was doing something illegal, they never would have done.
It also tends to go to my view on a lot of things where if accusations are being made, I'd like to see some proof before taking a side in things...and I'd barely heard anything about Dr Disrespect other than the brief blip about his former lawsuit with Twitch and now this...
Dr. Kenny gave me the ick so hard because he has tricked himself into thinking he's benevolent. Seeing the barista go from "fake customer service smile" at his comment ON HER LOOKS to "frozen mask of wtf ever dude? Move on" was upsetting. And then he has the balls to pull around and creepily tell her, "It's not your birthday, but it might be?" I don't blame her for hiding from him, and I hope her coworkers walked her to her car/transportation for the next few days for her comfort.

Declining birth rates are a good thing. Less overcrowding, less people to do more damage to the environment, more resources to go around. The human population is NOT hurting in numbers and we probably wont ever be struggling with reproducing.
Also less housing and more food! I personally want kids when I’m financially stable enough to take care of one. Also there’s plenty of kids in adoption centers!
This is not necessarily the case tho. The problem with declining birthrates is it causes an overall aging of the population and can lead to bad economic situations with older people needing to work longer as there aren't enough younger people to go around. You see this a lot in japan korea and also China where the example is even more notorious becauae of the infamous 1 child law that heavily sped up that situation. That being said doesn't mean everyone should go have 12 kids lel and the woman who said that is just parroting elon musk and other grifters.

Yes, finally someone who understands reality! I'm so sick of people worrying about declining birth rates and worrying about the human species going extinct! There are well over 8 billion people on earth and the population is still growing, even though we don't need more babies. People should be discouraged from having children, not encouraged! I'd rather die than have kids, myself. I can hardly think of anything that would ruin my life worse than that! I can't even afford to take care of myself as a single man living alone, how could I ever handle kids. My older brother already had a grandchild by the time he was my age, so if I'm still not ready, I don't think I'll ever be ready.

Apparently youtube is protecting some creeps too. Rachel Oates recently made a post about youtube demonetizing a video if it includes the name of a certain youtuber or the name of the minor he was involved with. His content is untouched, still monetized, and promoted.
It's not the first time things like this has happened either. 😕 her community post here on youtube explains a lot.
It's ridiculous how many times I've heard of videos informing and challenging pseudoscience/misinformation, exposing abuse, criticizing toxic behavior, etc. Are flagged, demonetized, or taken down yet the original content with those things are left up.

She tackles some really difficult content sometimes so careful for trigger warnings, examples: the van life vid has footage of the kids that made me cry, other times she reads books/quotes where people are describing SA they did to others and r*pe. She has less humor than this but gives a lot of great information. Also she has a great dog called Kyra.

What I don't like about the Dr. Disrespect situation (besides him messaging a minor with him admitting to some of the conversations being inappropriate) is that this was hidden for quite a long time which led to him continuing to enjoy much success. Now that the truth is finally out and the walls are closing in, he runs and hides like a coward yet still trying to talk tough through a message instead of on camera about how he does not give a flip about the haters and that he is not going anywhere. Meanwhile, a lot of his fans are left fighting to defend him because they may still hold out hope that he was just being edgy in the messages with no real intention of doing anything while Dr. Disrespect is off hiding knowing he is a creep.
