Seeing this review I realized I had this issue in my collection and read it again for the first time in well over a decade. Those last few panels from the epilogue were powerful as they felt like what I needed to be reminded of in my life. Hope u do more reviews like these hidden gems from back in the day when the comics were thriving. Very solid story and it captures the essence of our favorite Wall Crawling Hero.

im glad that this video and comic helped you in a way, its a beautiful issue and a story we could only dream of getting again within spidey books! I'd love to make more videos about classic spider-man stuff, I had a series idea in and but someone beat me to it however im sure I can work around that

    Man the story
I feel relax a calm feeling after your video with the comic and man what a nice story and how mental health type sounded it is spectacular and I really wish in next the amazing spider-man issues withe a new start and new writter we could see a good stories like this not full action but like this that teaches you a life lesson
Not just a very poor normal story
It even reminds me the ultimate stories that focus not just in action but the characters and plot and what this story means
    Writing 10/10
    comic art style 10/10
    A very good spider-man story
It again reminds me like superman that doesn't just save people from villans he saves and helps them in every bad situation
Spider-man saves people life's in every situation not just from a villan or crash from this problems
And it's nice to see spidey help people no matter what he wants to help every person and it's nice
    A CLASSIC SPIDER-MAN STORY

Excellent Retro Review. Your quality of work in your published videos continues to improve and gets better and better. Keep up the great work because the ultimate goal is 100,000 subscribers.
You can tell how different the writing was back in "Web of Spider-Man", "Peter Parket The Spectacular Spider-Man (PPTSS)", and "The Amazing Spider-Man (TASM)" back in 1985 as compared to the garbage Zeb Wells writes today in "ASM". This could be the beginning of your retro review channel, reviewing Spider-man back issues from the Silver and Bronze Age. I also recommend reviewing the one-off "Marvel Team-Up" Series that ran from 1972 to 1985. 150 issues with 140 issues having Spider-Man team up with another Marvel Superhero of that time. Another post Bronze Age comic could be "The Untold Tales of Spider-Man" which ran from 1995 to 1997. It would be a great addition to your channel reviewing back issues if you decide it's worth it. Even though this issue was a one-off, this takes place, two issues after PPTSS #100 where Felicia and Peter broke up. I think that was the reason for a one-off filler issue after such a traumatic event in Spidey's life. Still a very good issue.
I'm 62. I was one of the original nerds of my day. I still follow comics today, but you're the younger generation. The generation that will keep Spider-Man vibrant and valid into the 2030s and 2040s. You're the Heir Apparent or the Nerd Apparent. Whatever today's terminology. You're the generation that will see Marvel and DC continue into the 21st century or see them close their doors for good. You represent the best of your generation. Continue the great work you do. Looking forward to your "USM #6" review. Cheers.

Man reading your comic meant alot to me. im seriously touched thank you so much ❤ im so glad you enjoyed this one because I was a little nervous when making it all but the way it turned out im pretty pleased! id love to go over the back issues more because its good to have a break from the trash that is modern spider-man comics and go back in time and enjoy some good old classics! I hope that with my videos too that Im Able to encourage other people my age to really dig deep and enjoy the good part of comics because so many people are missing out and/or clueless to it all! it doesn't help the movies usually butcher their adaptations! im going to pick up usm 6 today, its meant to be super good so I can wait to give it a read! thanks again for the support :)
