  • Here the whole Tutorial of making cuttings of lime tree is discussed in details. It is the air layering process followed by most of the professional gardeners and nurseries. It is very easy and everyone can do it with ease.

      Keep the plants under full day sunlight and water the plants every alternate day. If infected by insects please apply insecticide in appropriate doses.

    Thank you for making this video! It's very clearly explained and seems like an easy enough process to do. I have several citrus plants growing from seed but the oldest one is still only about three years old. I believe that they may fruit in another 2-4 years. In the meantime, I may try getting an air layered cutting from a family member who has a fruiting kumquat.

    Very well explained sir, thank you. My father used to do a similar thing with rubber plants that were getting too tall. He would cut through the stem, coat the inside of the cut with rooting powder and then wrap in the dough and plastic the same way you did. Also 100% success. 👍

    Sir I am a great admirer of your videos. I have subscribed to it and watch every episode. I find your tutorials and guidelines very useful. I have a small request to make. Sir please prepare and post a video about Monthly sowing and care of garden plants, foliage, flower and fruit/vegetable. This will help the viewers immensely. I know India has different climatic zones and one rule does not apply everywhere, but you can generally indicate which month for which seed. Also indicate the best time for cuttings, grafting and pruning.

    I wish I would have seen this excellent video before I tried to transplant my dwarf kaffir lime from a garden bed into a pot (because I moved house), which hasn't survived. Thankfully, I know of a kaffir lime tree which I will try to propagate using your method. Ingenious !!
