This video reminded me of my own midnight sun adventure not far from Lofoten, we went to Harstad, Norway instead. The setting sun (around 10pm) during this time of year on a clear blue sky is just gorgeous, it bathes the most golden sunset light I've ever seen!

Samis and Scandinavians are 2 completely different people groups, scandinavians being native to the area and samis being nomads moving into it from the northeast.
The best spot for Midnight sun in Norway is North Cape! There is nothing in between, just the ocean. I had witnessed and it's magical for sure. That was my experience. Amazing footage, Lofoten is in my bucketlist.
I'm glad you're happy with your visit to North Cape - and that you could view the midnight sun. But generally speaking is North Cape one of the worst places for viewing the midnight sun. Best place would be almost anywhere else - as long as you are in the Arctic.

I've been to Lofoten last summer when it was 30 degrees Celsius so it was incredibly hot, especially as for this region. I loved it and swam a lot in the cold sea! 😁
Im just impressed how NORWAY can maintain the environments especialy on the mountains n forest without doing much constructions compare to other countries which has even spoiled their mountains and cut all the trees ❤

Loving these videos so much! Well done on the footage and editing. Lofoten is on my bucket list too. I have yet to travel there, even though I'm Norwegian. I actually live really close to Langfoss, which you drove by in westcoast Norway. Mom and dad visited Lofoten two years ago and she still cries every time she sees a photo of all the places in that area. She says it's just that beautiful. We are all avid hikers, so they hiked a lot of the mountains up there. And because of the midnight sun, they managed to do 2-3 mountains a day. They were high on life and arctic air I guess 😂
I never knew it had a midnight sun i only saw it by accident on my students' companion i really jealous now nice mountain great view.I from Trinidad most people in my country is not arrear of this exsistence i am 68yrs now.Norway has to be a nice place.

I was in Lofoten with my grandparents, its an amazing place to visit. Would personally recommend watching the northern light one day. Since i live in Norway i can't appreciate the mountains and the view like you guys (guess im to used to it). But the Northern Light always blows my mind. Amazing video btw, lovley shots too.

Wow, this place is really great. I was astounded by the long nights in Iceland in winter when I was there. It's really amazing. Wish my internet was good enough so I could watch in 4K

Lofoten is amazing..in the winter too. Those northhern lights are something true, Amazing Artic cuisine..smoked , cured Artic Char, Reindeer, yes that Artic Bacalao is out .. out of this world icluding that cured cured smoked lamb

Midnight sun can also be seen from the southern tip of Argentina in Tierra del Fuego during december, same feeling as Lofoten :)
