The Riddle of Liberation Pirate Borg One Shot

Arr, listen up, ye scurvy dogs! Gather 'round and heed me tale of the Dark Caribbean, a place once thought to be a paradise by them early explorers. They sailed in search of deserted islands and treasures aplenty. But little did they know, amidst the shimmering waves and sandy shores, there lurked the Scourge!
'Twas on the solstice when it all began. Haunting screams pierced the air, echoing over them sandy beaches. From the depths of the death-black waves crawled the undead, their ghastly forms striking terror into the hearts of all who beheld 'em. At first, they came in ones and twos, but soon, their numbers swelled into hordes, blotting out settlements with their lifeless, nameless ranks. Flesh of dead sailors, ghosts of the displaced, and monstrous creatures birthed from the darkest depths of the sea - they all emerged to consume all in their path. The meek had naught but their graves to flee to, only to rise again under the cursed moonlight.
But amidst the chaos, survivors banded together, fortifying cities and bolstering strongholds against the encroaching darkness. And then, they discovered ASH - the remnants of destroyed undead, known for its strange effects when consumed. Valuable beyond measure, ASH sparked conflicts, trade disputes, and gave rise to black markets across the Dark Caribbean. You can spot an addict by their sunken eyes, darkened lips, and bones that faintly glow in the night.
And now, here we stand, me hearties, amidst this treacherous sea, trusting in our captain to lead us to untold riches. He guards a map, known only to him, a map that holds the key to our next destination - a destination guarded by creatures of the unknown, where many a brave soul has met their end. But are ye brave enough to join our crew and embark on this perilous adventure? Are ye willing to face the horrors that await us in pursuit of glory and gold? If so, then hoist the sails and prepare for the journey of a lifetime!
