MWR's animations are the most realistic imo, they really make you feel the weight of the weapons. WW2's ones are a lot more and more interesting instead. Imo BO4's inspections are too cartoony but at least they're there
semaroxx So basically fast mag (or that specific perk you're talking about) is "Oh so you press this button and the bolt flies forward that is so clever!"
LeatherJabroni I know. I just find it funny. Imagine a soldier in the heat of battle reloading his rifle accidentally hitting the bolt release on his gun then face palming after realizing that he had been using his gun wrong for a long time.
Some of the snaps to idle and animation blending are pretty bad, especially when foregrips are involved. What looks like the RFB's bolt doesn't move during the chamber check. A lot of these animations would involve ejecting a live round and often don't even check the chamber while racking the bolt. Finally: Do the animations change if there are no rounds in the magazine and the chamber is empty? Given how CoD usually auto-reloads your weapon when it goes dry, I somehow doubt that. Nitpicks aside, I think the inspections and chamber checks are pretty cool, and at least demonstrate that the model guys aren't slouching off on the side you don't see.
Oh yeah because halo and destiny own the futuristic games. Please grow the fuck up I hate bo4 but do you have any fucking idea what a game combined with halo and destiny would look? The game is set in 2040 for god's sake. People used to call black ops 2 a halo ripoff only because it was set 13 years in the future yet I don't see any fucking jetpacks or laser weapons in that game
changing handle and bolt are interchangeable, though bolt more commonly refers to the action on sniper rifles (at least, some of them), and many weapons can have their bolts locked back without ejecting (some closed-bolt Uzi variants for example). Also, this gun is futuristic, so you have to take that into account as well. It may very well have a separate way to eject rounds without ever touching the bolt
ClonedGamer001 I don’t mean to come off as “that guy” but that’s not at all How firearms work. The charging handle and bolt are not the same part. The bolt is the part that strips the round out of the magazine and pushes it into the chamber, then locks behind the round. The charging handle allows you to manually operate the bolt, but they aren’t necessarily the same part. The mx9’s controls look like they’re inspired by an HK design like the mp5, and if you were to lock the charging handle back while the gun was loaded, it would eject a round. Still, it’s just a video game and we’re nitpicking small inaccuracies, but it still doesn’t really make any sense to unload the gun by locking the bolt back. Hope this explanation helps, cheers.
kind of. there are actually enhanced "Mk2" attachments. For example, the Strife pistol has 12 rounds, or 14 with extended mag, or 18 with extended mags mk2. and yes, they are cosmetically different
Glad that they’ve kept this amazing feature that no devs make anymore. Black Ops 4 might be the best multiplayer game this year. edit: by devs I mean arcade FPS devs, no more confusion.
@@The_Viktor_Reznov List of games that I could think of with weapons inspection: -CS GO (tactical) -Escape from Tarkov (ultra realistic) -Black Squad (tactical) -COD MWR (arcade) -COD WW2 (arcade) The main point is that many people enjoy looking at the details of their weapons, and it is a unique feature for arcade FPS games(especially for COD which the devs don't care about weapons realism and details, but rather the fast gameplay). @MyNama Jeff This year we have Black Ops 4, Battlefield V and Red dead redemption 2 as leading AAA multiplayer titles. For BFV, gameplay might be as good as previous titles. However due to the backlashes about historical inaccuracy, the Battlefield franchise will face its most desolate time, much like Star Wars Battlefront 2. For Rdr2, since in its current state it is console exclusive, it will have less players and popularity than the other two games. PC gamers hold a large portion of the gaming market so it is hard for Rdr2 to be played by most gamers. So BO4 MIGHT(it is only my guess, not a must) be the best multiplayer game this year. Since BO4 is technically three games in one title, it will attract three types of gamers. First, are traditional COD players who is fed up with jumpsuit shit and messy launch. Second, are zombie players who is looking for a sequel to Treyarch zombies. Third are Battle royale gamers, which some might be interested in Blackout.

Those are some really aggressive brass checks.
For some weird reason, future weapon designers have forgotten the existence of bolt catches and releases.
On some weapons you have this feature but only when you have the fast mag on it or the specific perk active
