i was working on a tom bass, it sounded off, you saying you cannot recreate a tom in a synth got me inspired, i used the hit of the tom in the noise section of serum, and then used the sinwave to be the tail, it got rid of some muddyness for me

This was not informative enough, you spent too much time not talking about how you made the bass to only reveal that you didn't make it and used a smaple. Have you considered that it's easy for you because you're taking shortcuts?
