I’m glad some ppl enjoy med surg. We need nurses everywhere. If it makes you happy do your thing boo ❤
Exactly! Yes I agree we get so much hate about medsurg. 🩺🫶🏽thanks

i feel like for a lpn then med surg is great. honestly dont understand the folks who say they hate med surg because you can't be a good icu or er nurse if you cant do med surg
Agree it ain’t for everyone I guess you have to have a plan in place that’s what motivates me in this environment 🩺🫶🏽
Re-watching your videos and hoping you are doing well! We miss youuu babe! 🤍
I’m going to take the leap and transition from LTC to Med Surge after this travel assignment..it’ll be helpful working with other RNs to be inspired to bridge ❤❤
I agree I loved medsurg I got to touch a little bit of everything I always loved ED trying to get back there now
I want to try ED eventually that’s one department I haven’t floated to. I know it’s a different pace. 🫶🏽🩺
@@IAMHER_NurseTee I LOVE working in ED.
You looked so pretty for the bday outing.
Thanks love ❤️
I’m an older LPN here and I love your videos! Yes the pill organizer is a must. I have that same one🙂 Do you think you’ll ever travel again once you’ve obtained your RN
It really came in handy lol yes after a year or so as staff 🩺🫶🏽🫶🏽
Any tips for a new nurse starting on Medsurg?
This may be a sign! I have been considering med surg for a hot minute and I really miss doing some of my skills😭
Try it out sis 🫶🏽🩺
Hi, had a question, wanted to know if med surg a hard area to work in and how many patients to a lpn in that area..thanks

I’m in California it’s so hard to find Lvn jobs in the hospital. That’s why I only work Registry at nursing homes.
Oh no. I did a travel contract there once at a small community hospital I mean so small the icu department was like 6 beds. However the medsurg there was very much like here. 🫶🏽🩺
Nursing school is hard but faking school is very scary 😮
Exactly I couldn’t even imagine
I’m also an LPN starting med surg in 3 weeks. Any tips/advice?
Preparation and prioritizing is everything…… pay attention to detail and if you need clarification just ask and it’s okay to not know everything take every moment as a learning opportunity 🫶🏽🩺🩺💉💉💉
Hey love, would u mind disclosing the name of the agency you work with. I’m an LPN and really wanna get out of ltc/snf and work in the hospital. 😭😭😭
Yes please send dm on IG 🩺🫶🏽I’ll send you info
@@IAMHER_NurseTee I dm’d u.
For how long was your training?
Depends if your travel or staff. Travel 3 days. Staff a few weeks 🫶🏽

Hello. I heard you say you were travel. Did you work med surg staffed before the travel assignment
Yes I was a pct at a hospital In nursing school when I graduated the hospital transitioned me but I left after a short time cause they wasn’t paying much of anything as staff lpn there.
