    Shabbat shalom. Kate I bless Yah's name for the gift he's given through this project. I think it's more contagious than COVID. And seeing the environmental conditions in Europe and many of the temperate region. The Creator is preparing the way and we are his instruments. Blessings to all!

    Great Salt Lick Hotel. Show us the underground tunnels to watering pool. It was a great experience when I lodged the Tanzanian Delegation there and at the Mombasa Beach Hotel in1983 during the building and signing of Interstates Diplomatic Treaty.

    Wow. Kenyans are born to be farmers. farming is in every Kenyan blood. Kenya is the largest exporter of black tea in the world and majority who grow the tea are small scale farmers who are all members of a cooperative under the umbrella of an association called Kenya Tea development Association (KTDA) dubbed as one of the most successful cooperatives in the world.
    Europe imports 40% of their vegetables from Kenya and majority grown by small scale farmers. Kenya is the 4th largest exporter of cut flowers and majority are farmers.
    South Africa used to be the number one exporter of Avacadoes but now Kenya takes the lead. WHy. Give a Kenyan farmer a Market for their produce with decent returns they will do miracles.
    Kenya currently imports its apples from south Africa. Soon i see this scenerio changing. where Kenya will be number one exporter of Apples in Africa. Just like that a community drops 900acres of land to plant apples. The beauty of wambugu apples is that it can be grown in almost any climatic condition meaning in Kenya with its favorable weather almost through out the year in the entire country wambugu apples can be grown anywhere. And with an available market ready to buy watch Kenya become the number one apple exporter from Africa.
    And now with the setting up of the Apple association of growers and exporters, this is meant to set the ground work to harmonize the growing of Apples around the country and to consolidate Apple farmers into one association to speak with one voice. To pull resources together. As there is strength in numbers of people coming together. It creates economies of scale and leveraging on that strength to take Wambugu Apples global.

    • @daviddavis7959
      @daviddavis7959 2 года назад

      @@katewambugu1537 Just follow the scipt of KTDA. Infact KTDA farmers are so successful that they are able to build their own power mini power plants to run their factories. They are one of the only farmers who never have problems getting fertilizers because they buy in bulk as a result of coming together and leveraging their numbers to make bulk orders which producers of fertilizers will give first priority. Besides making money on the sale of tea to the factory when they bring their produce, the farmers also get yearly bonuses depending on how the tea markets were that year. Its like a company paying yearly dividends.
      The great thing of wambugu apples is there is no need to apply fertilizers may be at the beginning and depnding on the soil type PH levels after that hardly any fertilizer is required just ash.
