    Kate you need to sign pilot projects with many agro oriented African governments. You have all the upper hand to take you far with your apples . Your practical approach on the wambugu apples will only make you winner in any country.

    Kate, I just learned that the terracing my grandmother used on her farm in Portland Jamaica is called Fanya Juu - a Kenyan terrace farming technique that prevents erosion - She did it exactly like it is done in Kenya, down to the banana trees planted in the trenches. I will be doing Fanya Juu for my farm and is so happy to know that it all started in Kenya, just like my Wambugu Apples. Learning so much from beautiful Africa...

    Today I have ordered 3 apple trees for my compound. Am doing away with my flowers. Yes am starting with 3 as an experiment then spread to my idle land. Martin wambugu is sending me the trees. Food security must start from home.

      for now we recommend starting with atleast 10 seedlings, because the apples are cross pollinators and this quantity of trees in the farm will enable and encourage pollination.
