Thank you for the video, it covers most points and managed properly or it gets closed down. Chicken processing and handling is a high risk operation. Hope you enjoyed the blast freezer, fast freezing keeps ice crystals small in the meat and keeps the skin white. Slow cooling and freezing yellows the skin. Means bigger efficient freezers...massive product and heat load. Amazing!
Hi, Such a price tag for just an 'egg', Dear Lynda, Kenchic should ensure the birds are fully vaccinated for the common diseases to help the farmer recoup his investment! At the moment its a one sided (Kenchic) deal
Very informative for sure, surprised their different farms are so decentralized - Broodstock in Kisaju, hatchery in Kitengela, Processing in Thika, Grow out in kakuzi Makuyu etc. Could it be something to do with biosafety? And for those asking, Kenchic is Kenyan owned, and now with operations in Tanzania and Zambia. Keep up the good work
Kenbro is the best. Slow growing compared to broilers and it's robust and it's sweet just like kienyeji chicken. It grows bigger than Normal kienyeji because can gains upto 3.8kgs when feed with balanced diet.
Eawo thx for a great job but am sorry to ask this my first time to do poultry i started with Ken hick but now like 3times they don't come out in gd ways I mean growing up were is the mistake because same feeds am using i would like to know mo about
I enjoy your presentation. Nice job here, very cheerful, am preparing for broiler farming in the new year here in Nigeria. See more of your video. I have subscribes to your channels
The chickens are imprisoned in small spaced cages their entire life time till slaughter. Cage farming has inhuman conditions that are no good for general viewers who value humane handling of animals.
True my brother Africa should rear commercial free range chicken because we have enough free space! We can export premium products to the world where there is high demand for free range chicken
There are many such facilities ran by kenyans. One is blade Gates in Nyeri county. There are also many in Kiambu. Stop hating on kenyans. Also, this muzungu is just an employee. The company is owned by a Kenyan.

Why wouldn’t Kenchic not have their own farm, you didn’t know they hatched their own chicks? Come on!!! Do your research before hand, Lynda you came across very naive!!
@Kevin Njoroge, there is something called rhetoric/irony. I bet she just wanted the host to spell out the details, otherwise if she knows all the details, what is the point of the video? She is there to get all possible details even obvious ones for the sake of those viewers not in the know...

Uganda is largely consuming kenchic but why does Kenya gvt put a ban on exportation of our Ugandan eggs??
To control the market. Ug eggs are quite cheap compared to the Kenyan's

Now I see hw the capitalist make money...they own the whole chain
Do they provide training of farmers
They do. Call their offices for information
They never showed the chickens in a habitat. They must not be proud of that aspect.
Yeah, I bet these chickens are grown conventionally in huge crowded areas. Nothing beats a pasture raised meat.

@@kingsafari434 where did you studied
@@beautifulmind1177 where did you "STUDIED"? I don't understand your question.
