I don't know if the XL Taschen book is the best. However it is the first time that I've seen such high resolution pictures of Bruegel in a book. That is because Taschen sent a photographer to all accessible collections in the world to make new pictures with the latest technology. There is also a google art project that where they scanned the paintings of Bruegel, maybe the following websites are something for you? blog.google/topics/google-europe/when-bruegel-met-google-immerse_81/ and artsandculture.google.com/project/bruegel-unseen-masterpieces Hope this helps.
