I fell in love with this phone the moment it was announced and I was a 100% sure I'd get it, but then, the size of the phone held me back. I have smaller than average hands so it's a no-no for me, but honestly, the device is gorgeous. Surely the best Android experience you could get out of a phone. As I'm an iPhone 5 user, I pulled the trigger on the iPhone 6. until the next Nexus, It's gonna be my main device. Nice Review Danny, Keep it up. :D
Great video Danny! I really like the Nexus 6 in white. I had the red Nexus 5 before the OnePlus One and the iPhone 6 and the stock Android experience was just awesome. Looking forward to the full review of that beast.
Where I live, the off contract price of the note 4 is the same as the nexus 6- I think it's a special offer. With the added functionality of the SPen the multitasking mode etc, the note 4 is a more attractive proposition. Nice video as always, and I live the little mini me in the camera comparison.
Personally, I find it too early to make a call on battery life for the sole reason that Lollipop is brand new and this is Google's first time dealing with such a powerful flagship (as in they nearly went all out on all the parts). I'm thinking there's going to have to be some revisions à la kitkat (nightlies anyone xD?) to make things run better (although an update already came out). With big change comes more bugs and things to improve after all, but this seems like it's a pretty decent shot at proper design. The other issue is that that display is so big lol. I get around 4-5 hours screen on time with my G3 on stock, so I can't imagine how hard it is to optimize things for a 6 inch display to even reach those numbers.
would you mind comparing Nexus 6 and Oneplus one, as long as you have both of them, and which one is you preferred phone due to the user experience so far? and do you consider the N6 as a update to OPO?
Had to get the blue (only one sprint has). The size is actually really nice. The curved back actually makes it feel smaller than the note 4 (my girlfriend has the note 4).it fits in my pocket just fine with a case but I wouldn't want a phone any bigger lol
I have an HTC One M8, and I was thinking about switching to the Nexus 6. Played around with it in the store today. Lollipop is amazing. The screen looks awesome to my eyes. The choice of materials feels incredible in the hand. But the thing is just too darn big. It's massive. It is the one deal-breaker this phone has. I would much rather get the Moto X, (the leather back feels amazing) but then you lose the dual front-facing speakers.
So when is your full review coming? Do you still think the battery sucks? I have the HTC one m8, I want this phone. But I've heard rumors of the M9 (Hima, or whatever it's called) in march. What do you think should I wait? I'm on contract, so I'd have to pay full price. Just wanted to get your opinion, thank you. I'm subbed now.
TheProspecialist since this video & especially since HTC isn't bringing out the M9 plus to America. I went ahead & bought the nexus 6, the battery last me about a day & half. Really liking it. 👍
Battery levels start getting better after few discharges. You should know that as you're a reviewer. It's too early to pass judgement on the battery life so use it for more than a weak then update us.
these companies need to hire someone to improve the battery life. by this point in cell tech we should be able to last a week or so on a stock battery. the processor and display are maxed out and its all the same now, start focusing on that battery
I'm from the uk and have pre ordered the 64gb blue so haven't got it yet however from all other reviews I've seen you seem to be a fanboy of apple and Samsung, all other reviews have said the camera and battery life are far better than the nexus 5 and is on par with the i phone 6 and lets not forget how much the i phone 6 and galaxy note devices cost.
yes battery is on par with iPhone 6. NOT 6 Plus. trust me I am no Apple Fanboy. Think what you want to think. I test multiple phones every month. I am just speaking the truth. other reviewers have also said camera and battery life are mediocre. The largest reviewers by the way. You should go back and watch them.
Well i now have the 64gb Midnight blue Nexus 6 and i have to say the battery lasts longer than any other device I've owned and the camera in my opinion is excellent, you would be hard pushed to find anything better.
How dirt is it get? I mean specially the white one. The blue too. I would like to get the white because of the fingerprints (blue) but the white is dirty.
If u come from iPhone 6 or the note 4 u will see that nexus 6 is less bright compare to those phone but after 3-4 days used u will get use too.. I got my nexus 6 for 2 weeks now and I really enjoy using this phone..hope to see full review soon..Great review as always Danny..
Yeah, I'm putting bets on Sony. They've already gone with HTC with the T-Mobile G1 (The first Android powered phone) and the Nexus One Samsung with the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, LG with the Nexus 4 & 5, and Motorola with the Nexus 6 and next year's model (Nexus X?) Probably after they've dealt with Sony, they might restart the cycle all over again.
i have the asus zenfone 2 laser ze550kl 5.5 inch variant red color i'm a huge fan of stock android but i havent used devices that has stock android i like the zenui but the thing that i like most is stock android so i have nova and google now launcher on my device i'm 12 years old just using my dads account i hope when i grow up i can afford nexus 6 or 6p
This phone is a huge lump of disappointment. Compared to the cost of the Nexus 5, you're getting very little hardware to justify it. Bad photo quality, subpar battery life, a gigantic screen with no software features to take advantage of it, and possible burn-in issues on a sub-par AMOLED screen with color shifting. Honestly, at least you get what you pay for with a Note 4 when you pay the premium price. This phone offers almost nothing over phones like the OnePlus One and Nexus 5 for twice the price. The battery life issue is chronic with Nexus devices, too. Nexus 4 and 5 both had battery issues and now the 6 can't even hold up with a gigantic battery and Project Volta.
Excellent video Danny, so beautifully shot.
Hi ur famous
Bill O Yes ***** is famous! Ha thanks Mike!
Yes, it's very professional

I'm in love with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Running on my Nexus 5 ----->
Great video Danny, the way you shoot your videos are excellent! Also, that OnePlus One wood back looks so nice.
Danny, Always keeping us ahead in tech thanks bud!
Great video Danny! I really like the Nexus 6 in white. I had the red Nexus 5 before the OnePlus One and the iPhone 6 and the stock Android experience was just awesome. Looking forward to the full review of that beast.
I ordered the blue one can't wait to ups to drop it off.. So excited!!!!
Just got the White one 2016 - coming from a S7 Edge
Thing is just a beast, its even on Android N already
Where I live, the off contract price of the note 4 is the same as the nexus 6- I think it's a special offer. With the added functionality of the SPen the multitasking mode etc, the note 4 is a more attractive proposition. Nice video as always, and I live the little mini me in the camera comparison.
After a few months have you had any problems with the white variant yellowing?
first time comment danny, have to say ure unmatched when it comes to hardware tour!! :)
The quality! Excellent subscribed.
Danny be like Ima do a full review, and that joint never shows up. But your videos are A1
Ha that is true. Things will change my friend in the new year. I will make more videos and more full reviews.
would u still suggest this phone in 2016 ?
I have it in it runs perfect
I just got the Nexus 6 blue and I love it. If one does not want to get fingerprints on the back of their phone they may want to invest in a phone case

Ordered, and should have it Thursday... my first smartphone... EXCITED... in blue/64GB model. The new toy... I'm so shallow...consumer-lemming :)
I wanted the white one but I ordered the blue cause there was none available
Ordered the midnight blue 32gb version need to wait until around 6pm GMT to actually unbox and use can't wait :)
Where do you get your wallpaper on your phones? Would really love to have them? Danny Winget
also did you experienced burn in or pinkish screen so far?
Danny Winget Awesome video Danny. Wished I could get a nexus 6 on hands to try it out :(
Where'd u get that wallpaper from?
Do you have a link to that castle game wallpaper?
I am liking the looks of the blue one :)
Good video. I would rock the Nexus 6 if there were no Note 4 or M8.
would you mind comparing Nexus 6 and Oneplus one, as long as you have both of them, and which one is you preferred phone due to the user experience so far? and do you consider the N6 as a update to OPO?
elegantly reviewed.
White color the best for any phone :)
Hey! I am considering buying this phone, but the battery life is kinda drawing me back. How is the battery life now? Does it last longer? Thanks!
Had to get the blue (only one sprint has). The size is actually really nice. The curved back actually makes it feel smaller than the note 4 (my girlfriend has the note 4).it fits in my pocket just fine with a case but I wouldn't want a phone any bigger lol
Looking forward to your usage per "pocketability" of this per taking around day to day.
Currently on track to get the white nexus 6 64 GB in January :) the size is perfect my nexus 7 might suffer for it though.
Does anyone know if the dual speakers work while you hold the phone vertically?
I have an HTC One M8, and I was thinking about switching to the Nexus 6. Played around with it in the store today. Lollipop is amazing. The screen looks awesome to my eyes. I'm a huge apple freak, but damn that nexus 6 is so freaking sexy, i would buy it, but i don't like android.
you missed out a gret deal on black friday for 200$ for 64gb
my wants to buy unlocked nexus6 xt1103 32gb for me in USA...will it work & get future updates in india?
Which color, for the Nexus 6, do you prefer Danny?
white
Link for the very nice wallpaper?
it's a game called monument Valley I think

I am going to work on it this month. The battery life really hasn't changed much. Firmware has not been updated like I wanted. Frequency wise.
@Michael I'm in the same boat as you
TheProspecialist since this video & especially since HTC isn't bringing out the M9 plus to America. I went ahead & bought the nexus 6, the battery last me about a day & half. Really liking it. 👍
I got the blue version on 11/29/14. My last phone was the Note 3. I just wanted something different. On size my cell phone could never be too big.
Battery levels start getting better after few discharges. You should know that as you're a reviewer.
It's too early to pass judgement on the battery life so use it for more than a weak then update us.
I have had it a week. That's more than a few discharges sir.
Thanks but that means the phone might be defective. There is no way the battery life is that bad. Don't know, only time will tell.
I am not the only person that said the battery life is mediocre. It will get you through a day but it is not a GREAT battery.
hmm. interesting. Well thanks for the update Danny.
So, basically, because you like this phone, Danny isn't allowed to say anything bad about it?
I will buy the same asap. Thanks danny.
what is the wallpaper at 7:20?
monument Valley game Google it
I'm planning to get this as my first smartphone but it's so hard to pick a color. Which one would you choose
I hope you didn't get it
+Joshua Duarte smfh
I pre-ordered the blue 64GB for my birthday in 2030 can't wait XD
Is that a typo or you are just trying to be funny?

I have had no problems with the White one so far. I am going to keep a case on it though. It's a bit slippery and feel like I am going to drop it.
Danny Winget
What case is on there at the end of the video?
Mijaíl S. Agip Uriarte Does the white one scuff at all?
Don't have the Nexus 6, only the 5 and in black,
someone knows where to get that wallpaper at 5:10
"monument Valley game" Google it :)
Thanks :D
Hish ok. Thanks :D
I picked up the midnight blue :)
I ordered a 32 GB white as replacement for the OnePlus One
the camera is good enough for me!
u need to turn adaptive brightness off that make the screen brighter..
first thing I did. doesn't make much difference.
I like the white one
hi i love this phone and i think i will choose the white one
Like the white
nice video and i buy one
I like the blue nexus
So probably Motorola will manufacture next year's nexus phone, who do you think will manufacture the nexus phone after that one? My guess is Sony.
Yeah, I'm putting bets on Sony.
They've already gone with HTC with the T-Mobile G1 (The first Android powered phone) and the Nexus One
Samsung with the Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus, LG with the Nexus 4 & 5, and Motorola with the Nexus 6 and next year's model (Nexus X?)
Probably after they've dealt with Sony, they might restart the cycle all over again.
Disappointed with the battery life myself😕
Im good with my HTC ONE M8!! 2015 will be m9 i hope
If the M9 gets a 8 ultra pixel or higher camera its a day 1 buy for me.
eyitskevin agreed... But they prob won't lol
i have the asus zenfone 2 laser ze550kl 5.5 inch variant red color i'm a huge fan of stock android but i havent used devices that has stock android i like the zenui but the thing that i like most is stock android so i have nova and google now launcher on my device i'm 12 years old just using my dads account i hope when i grow up i can afford nexus 6 or 6p

"fairly sharp" ummm I don't think you're using that word right.
