Werner Heisenberg was a German physicist who formulated what is now known as the "uncertainty principle," one of the principle concepts of quantum physics. Basically -- and I am a layman, so I'm likely explaining this badly -- the uncertainty principle says that there is a limit to how well you can simultaneously know the position and momentum (where momentum is classically mass times velocity) of a particle. That is, if you know the position of a subatomic particle very precisely, you can only have limited information about its momentum and vice-versa. Again, I am not a physicist, but that's my understanding. Anyway, Heisenberg is one of the big, big, big names in physics. Its basically the equivalent of calling yourself "Einstein." My only question is, if Walter was going to use an alias that was a famous scientist, why not use a famous chemist, like Pauling, or Farraday, or Mendelev, or Priestly.
And the name Walter White was referring to a man who was apart of the civil rights movement. So Walter White is the Good and Heisenberg is the Evil. I love Vince Gilligan
The name fits Walt because you can never know which Walt you're getting. The chemistry teacher? Or the budding criminal? He's in an uncertain quantum state & can never be pinned down. He's also an enigma to the cops because they can never observe him directly, only the effect he has on the streets.
He feels dead all day long with the chemo cancer combo. The cooking in the desert is a reprieve but that moment right there, was the moment he felt the most alive in awhile. That's how I see that reaction in the car.
I am sure you two have heard thru the grapevine by now but, if you thought this episode was intense, then just wait! this is just the beginning and only a tiny taste of the intensity of things to come.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
1) I love that Steve found a new way to annoy Nikki. Jon Snoooh with GoT and now YO with BB. 2) The actor who played Tuco ACTUALLY put out the cigarette on his tongue. It was completely improvised and shocked everyone on the set.

Werner Karl Heisenberg..German: B 1901 - D 1976, was a German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics. 1932-Nobel Prize in Physics "for the creation of quantum mechanics, 💝
Werner Karl Heisenberg lived from 5 December 1901 - 1 February 1976. He was a German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics. He published his work in 1925 in a breakthrough paper. In the subsequent series of papers with Max Born and Pascual Jordan, during the same year, this matrix formulation of quantum mechanics was substantially elaborated. He is known for the Heisenberg uncertainty principle, which he published in 1927. Heisenberg was awarded the 1932 Nobel Prize in Physics "for the creation of quantum mechanics". Kinda the godfather of physics which is the basis of all chemistry.
Walt's little smile at the end was very similar (in more ways than one) to Sansa's little smile at the end of Battle of the Bastards when she's walking away from watching Ramsey get eaten by his own dogs.
I love the character Tuco Salamanca, the total psycho. lol I read an article once, on Raymond Cruz, and it is said of him that he's such a sweetheart, but that playing Tuco took a lot out of him. He loved playing that character, tho. You guys are great! Always to the end...😉❤️💗
GoT has many ups and downs (I personally thought season 5 was very boring). Breaking Bad is incredibly consistent and basically keeps getting better until the finale.
This is one of the best episodes of the show and the one when Walt became Heisenberg. Tuco is only in 7 episodes in The BadVerse but is one of the best villain in it.
Remember Walt saying at the intervention that he just wanted a "choice" in how his life played out? I believe that's the key to Walts reaction at the end of this episode! For once Walt made a choice and tempted fate by walking into that den of killers. He succeeded and was so hyped up that he had to decompress at the end. He's dying from cancer, but for the first time in a long time he never felt more alive!
You gotta understand though that walt is still a good person so he doesn't wanna put his students or anyone in a bad situation by telling hank that they prolly stole the equipment.
Walt choses is name for this guy : Werner Heisenberg ,a German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics and involved in the german nuclear research... haa almost forgot ❤❤💓💓
❤ It's best to lead people to come to conclusions on their own as opposed to just telling them flat out. They will belive something more if they came up with it themselves. Walt planting seeds of doubt into hank only makes Hank dig deeper in his belief that it was hugo who stole from the lab because hank thinks walt knows nothing about peoples character, and thinking walt is wrong reinforces his own ideas in his head. Had he just started blaming anyone it wouldnt make hank as set in on who it is.
Heisenberg uncertainty principle- you know either the location of an electron or the speed, you cannot know both simultaneously, that is my memory from physics 30 years ago.

Those examples don't sound as cool, for one.
The name fits Walt because you can never know which Walt you're getting. The chemistry teacher? Or the budding criminal? He's in an uncertain quantum state & can never be pinned down. He's also an enigma to the cops because they can never observe him directly, only the effect he has on the streets.
His new persona IS the uncertainty principle. WW being a mild teacher, the 'principle' part kinda fits too. (I know, different spelling, but still...)
I saw Breaking Bad earlier of this year on Netflix but now im watching it with you guys again.. Great Job guys love ur reaction videos.
14:52 YES HE WAS!!! 😆😂🤣 He was the “shit pushed in” guy!
He feels dead all day long with the chemo cancer combo. The cooking in the desert is a reprieve but that moment right there, was the moment he felt the most alive in awhile. That's how I see that reaction in the car.
"This.. Is not Meth."
One of the best lines
I am sure you two have heard thru the grapevine by now but, if you thought this episode was intense, then just wait! this is just the beginning and only a tiny taste of the intensity of things to come.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
1) I love that Steve found a new way to annoy Nikki. Jon Snoooh with GoT and now YO with BB.
2) The actor who played Tuco ACTUALLY put out the cigarette on his tongue. It was completely improvised and shocked everyone on the set.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
These reactions made me start re-watching Breaking Bad from the beginning.
I was gonna try to stay on the same episodes you were on but I’m already at the end of season 2. I couldn’t help it. 😄
Werner Karl Heisenberg..German: B 1901 - D 1976, was a German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics. 1932-Nobel Prize in Physics "for the creation of quantum mechanics, 💝
19:11 Howard Dean scream as the glass falls.
This was the episode that hooked me on Breaking Bad. Love this show and love you guys for reacting to it!! 💖
Heisenberg was a legendary Physicist who gave the world famous Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle. He won the Nobel for it.
Walt's little smile at the end was very similar (in more ways than one) to Sansa's little smile at the end of Battle of the Bastards when she's walking away from watching Ramsey get eaten by his own dogs.
I missed that part where Walt stormed into his school and asserted that he was going to talk to Hugo, the custodian who cleaned up his vomit.
Tuco (Raymond Cruz) was in Training Day. The bathtub scene with Ethan Hawke 💞💓💗💖💘💕
Also the whole, "I got my shit pushed in real good!" Line.. great delivery of the line, but kinda disturbing.
Sometimes I think nothing can beat Game of Thrones and then I am reminded of how fucking amazing Breaking Bad is and I start do doubt again.
GoT has many ups and downs (I personally thought season 5 was very boring). Breaking Bad is incredibly consistent and basically keeps getting better until the finale.
The “This is not Meth” scene is one of the most badass moments in modern TV history and the origin story of The Heinsberg
Walt: no more bloodshed and no more violence
Also Walt: cleans the blood of his nose
This is one of the best episodes of the show and the one when Walt became Heisenberg. Tuco is only in 7 episodes in The BadVerse but is one of the best villain in it.
"Rapid reaction" was symbolic to Walter's rapid character change to be "more violent".
Heisenberg was a Noble Prize winning physicist known for his "uncertainty principle".
You gotta understand though that walt is still a good person so he doesn't wanna put his students or anyone in a bad situation by telling hank that they prolly stole the equipment.
Red Colalo exactly what I was saying to myself when watching
One of the most badass moments in TV history. I fucking LOVE that scene.
Yeah, the blown-up office was one of the most iconic scenes in the whole show. Love it!
Walt choses is name for this guy : Werner Heisenberg ,a German theoretical physicist and one of the key pioneers of quantum mechanics and involved in the german nuclear research... haa almost forgot ❤❤💓💓
Heisenberg was a German scientist/chemist who is an underrated genius.
The last part of this episode cemented Breaking Bad as the greatest series ever, and it only got better afterwards.
19:45 Heisenberg was a nobel price winning physicist.
Heisenberg uncertainty principle- you know either the location of an electron or the speed, you cannot know both simultaneously, that is my memory from physics 30 years ago.
Even Walt shaving his own head is about control and doing things on his terms.
And now the show really begins!!
I live for these reactions!
Uncle Hank : You wouldn't know a Criminal if he was close enough to check you for a Hernia" .. Nikki: "Welllllll....."
❤️ Missed you guys. It was torture saving these BB reactions so I could have a Nikki and Steven marathon on my brand new tv, previously watched you's on my phone, but it was sooo worth it! Just caught up, minus today's video, and thought I'd comment on all the videos like the old days (GoT and \W/) ❤️
The Hugo/Tuco moment was the best! Reminded me of Rhaegal/Rhaegon/Rhaegar 😂
To answer Nikki's question, the name "Heinsberg" comes from Werner Heisenberg who was a theoretical physicist and a major pioneers in quantum mechanics.
I watched the first season and a half last year but couldn't get into it. You've got me back into it and I'm watching it again from the beginning. Really enjoying it this time ❤❤
This is the episode that totally brought me on board for the show.
❤️❤️I think for the first time in Walt’s life he actually feels ‘alive’ and in control of his own decisions. He feels free.
