- I was testing a new suction mount for my GoPro, it was a bit shaky with extension I was using. A quick run on a beautiful day at Lake Travis. This Allison Grand Sport is powered by a Mercury 150 Four Stroke, running a 28" Promax prop in this clip.

Love it! If I didn't have a XB21 2+2 and love to fish, I'd own a GrandSport!
Looks fast!
Perfect set up for weekend cruising. And its fast. Heck yea. And cheap on fuel.
Awesome boat! Thoughts on the same boat with the Yamaha 200hp in-line 4 cylinder?
It’s a dohc with 1.86 gears and 6000rpms
Ya, it's a great engine. I might go for the 175 SHO version, very similar. With a nosecone, it would work great.
Loved It!
Why didn't trim up that whole ride? If you did I'm sorry, but it looked like the motor was trimmed down the whole time.
Trimmed perfectly the whole time.
Ps. Remove music.
A bit too shaky the way I set it up. It will be better next time.
It’s like a Corvette with a 6 banger in it! 👎
Not at all, it's way better than a Corvette. Lol. It's the lightest 150 HP on the market, the engine is great.
Man up and trade in the 150 for a 300.
You should man up and try that. Lol
@@WavetoWaveBoats At one time I had a new 2005 Liberator 21' with a 1999 Merc 300. It ran 98.7 on GPS.
@@benghazimohadeeb1935 Ya this is a much lighter boat than the Liberator and can't handle the new heavy 300s. But with an older 260 or 280 they run 105+
@@WavetoWaveBoats Yes, I once raced an allison bass boat that had a Merc 300 drag (very quick) it was on lake Lewisville outside of Dallas.
@@benghazimohadeeb1935 Ya, much quicker than the Liberator. This does 80+ with a 150.
