Always liked the Grand Sports. My friend, Joe Harrell, use to host the Ally Rally up here on Cherokee years ago when he owned East TN Propeller and I loved going out with him in the evenings and watch those guys run them after the water calmed down. There would be Allisons packed in the parking lot at Cedar Hill Dock where we lived, beautiful sight to see. Dave Martin, that owned Martin Marine was also a friend of mine and he had a race hull Norris Craft that he set a record with at 126 MPG in Augusta, GA. Some guy in Knoxville just bought Dave's old boat. I was in it one day when he hit 105 but that was just a morning cruise for Dave. He's no longer with us but the man could build and drive a boat. The serial number on his Norris Craft just said " Race Only" on it. You can see it over on the Norris Craft Owners FB page.
Guys, I have to say--that is one of the best-filmed high speed runs I've ever seen on RUclips (and I've watched a lot). I've driven high-speed boats, and the way you've captured the driver's position and finesse, and the boat's speed on the water...phenomenal. I could tell from this run you needed a passenger, because you were listing to starboard even as you were full out! Congrats, because you made me feel like I was part of the action.....and you didn't have the wind noise that spoils most of the high-speed runs of seen. Thanks so much, great job!
Good eye steve and thank you. I can tell you know EXACTLY what you're talking about unlike some others ive seen comment in the past. If you look in the vid I had some weight to offset my girth lol. However I needed a full tank of fuel to keep it flat with that weight. We had issues getting clean water the day before and I played alot wasting gas and only saved about an 8th tank to shoot with. Thus she was runnin with the lean 😂
@@kevinschweer7103 it takes talent and lots of training to drive like that, amazing job. It’s the most gratifying feeling to get a hull up on the pad and flying-I drove vicariously with you 🤣. Please keep the videos coming if possible, I’m subscribed for sure!
The absolute best family family sport boat under 20'. We've had two. Current 2013 GSE, Gen2 Merc 200XS ROS. 88mph family loaded with 25p Hydromotive, 28p HM...103. Stay Safe.
@@DIPOUTDOORSTV come show me how it's done anytime... 865 604 7422 is the number. Got 900hrs with ZERO ingestion issues with just this hull, have the only two motors ever bolted to this thing in the same garage still running. One 2000 pmax 225 with 722hrs and the 1999 pmax 225 that's on it currently with just over 200hrs. I think I got this 🤷♂️
The lines, the stance, the 1st place look, the clean friendly inviting interior and the possiblity to be able to travel faster than my car is the reason i grind 15 hours day. I want 1 next summer.
1st off ....love the boat and video ! 2nd just curious what is your 92 mph prop ? And what is the 102 prop ? I heard lightning ets run great on those .....u would know better ..lmk...very curious about set up pitch , props and rpm.....that boat is on my list for must haves ! I will get either a GS or the SS2000 prob the GS for all around boating ....... basically I love those Allison's ! They look as cool and as fast as they are. Love it ! Thanks for sharing !
Awesome man!! glad you like! You would need to reach out to Kevin Schweer about that prop and boat. I just did all the filming! Thank you for supporting the EastTNFishing Channel!
Prop in the vid was a labbed 28 promax, I have a brand new lightning et 30p I've ran once up to 97 and havent ran it since (winter came). 102 was on a 32 drag 4 worked by bill eaves. It only likes one passenger. I run the 28 97% of the time for best all around performance. Also to note, I run the 28 at 1/4in above pad with 13in setback, the 32 runs best at 1/2in above pad with two bumps less trim than the 28 (not scientific but two bumps is how I can best describe it)
My 01 225 goes 66.2 in warm water full of stuff with talons . 225 yamaha. My 95 with a 200 mariner ran 76 with a 4 blade Turbo prop . Dont ask me why it was that fast ???? Perfect flat hull maybe ?
Lol, it's up and down. But as a channel I have done many fast boat videos. Also I've not had much time on the fishing or editing end. I do have a video coming less than a week with a 28 lb bag from chick with a 9 and a 7. Sorry for not getting more fishing content out.

That camera view from the back was cool. Wish you just showed us the footage from that one. Awesome boat. Looks like a lot of fun.

That's one Badass ride. The GS is the best looking boat Allison has built and possibly the best looking hull period.
It is very nice!!

Still the best looking and one of the best performing hulls around imo. Not to bad for a 20 year old hull.
Awesome ride..
Great boat and footage!
Thank you!

Badass video man
love this video
Awesome I wish my 88 Skeeter would run like that.
no doubt!

200 Mariners are fast. They produce well into the 10% + advertised hp.
👍😛
I thought it was an RC boat with a figurine in it from the ariel shot ..lol !
Haha!!
Superrrrrrrb!!!!!
Супер Элис спорт 👍💯
Nice microphone!
Is the fishing this bad right now?

It's on the block for what I paid into it.
Que merda vocês fizeram por ai para que possa ter uma vida tão fodastica? kkk
A lighter driver sat in the middle and a less offensive sounding motor would be better
Let us know when you get yours set up and some good video footage of it posted.
