Just used this build in onslaught and it was the most fun and satisfyingly easy build. Was able to cary 2 brain dead teammates and ended the match with 950 kills and like 300 orbs generated.
Let’s gooooooo. Glad you enjoyed, yeah lol it rly is such an easy to use build. Even someone who just started playing could slap this on and fool me into thinking they’re a vet 🤣🤣🤣
@@wesschepman I used it in legend with no problems. May want to swap off Tommy’s for something like Polaris or sun shot in later rounds to avoid the self damage in the rare times you don’t have your well, but I used it without any issue whatsoever to wave 40. You can always swap to something like dragons breath when you go into a boss fight too as you can rally before 💪👍
@@simplyfitness892 yeah, just cuz the self damage. U could definitely switch to hierarchy of needs here, it’s nuts with this build and actually does a surprisingly large amt of damage
Fun build! I swapped back and forth between Tommy's and sun shot, but have literally never used Tommy's other than to get the catalyst. I was able to 50-wave with a couple randos.
Let’s goooo. I’ve also found if you use hierarchy of needs it’s rly good get supers back and with catalyst it’s so easy to use it’s crazy. Def a great alternative
Greetings, I finally found someone who not only says what you have to use without explaining why but also explains why you have to use it and how you should use it, good video bro
I'm definitely trying this build, i've never played with another class than my beautiful hunter but i always wanted to try the warlock and this seems fun to play, i like the idea of being a support sometimes, i cannot always be the typical suicidal hunter in every match xd
Yeah I know a lot of new players are coming in so I wanted to put it out for them. I love hierarchy, u recommended that as the alternative. Absolutely goated
Should try banner of war with precious scars and quick silver or final warning with a cataphract gl3. I think this is the best support build you can give woven mail banner x4 and restoration to the whole team while be nearly unkillable with woven mail up. Truly a insane build
what is better to use with this build hierarchy of needs/ tummy's matchbook or sunshot? also love the vid... everyone else is just making build vids for onslaught where you need 6000 ads at all times to proc anything but this vid is best of both worlds
Glad you enjoyed! I love hierarchy with it. The chunks of super energy you get back is ridiculous, but you def want the catalyst with it. For others who may not have it or may not have finished the catalyst I’d recommend Tommy’s
I was using a similar build and having a lot of success with it, but I've been using Sunshot and a random stasis sidearm because I always seem to get stuck with unstoppable and barrier champs and never know if my teammates are gonna be able to stun them.
I mean you always want to use heavy in damage phases, but Tommy’s isn’t a bad backup for something like an onslaught boss. If you’re talking a raid damage phase, definitely wouldn’t use Tommy’s 🤣
Just like how to get them? The root of nightmares raid rewards a pretty good one, you could try that! One of the easier raids, I’m actually going to run it with some discord members sometime. link in description if you wanna join.
Fair enough, I thought that was a case but it’s so hard to determine like an actual quantity based value for super energy from dealing damage lol, so I just said “ah u get ur well back 75% so don’t worry abt it” lol
@@D2Novi yeah usually on bosses after you get the 50% back from pheonix and you focus tommys on the boss you'll have your super back before the first expires. Been one of my go to builds all season
@@firemanking3271 yeah Tommy’s is underrated af I can’t even lie. I used to use a similar build with skyburners just to scorch and ignite everything. Everything just explodes lol
Tommy’s brings that single target ignition damage that sunshiny does doesn’t offer, so yes sunshot may be better at add clear (jury’s still out on that) but Tommy’s is far better for all around
Idk. I can't get behind using Tommy's matchbook when there are better options for both single target and add clear. Even if you aren't using sunshot. Don't get me wrong, I like the build. And it's a neat gimmick using matchbook and it's synergy with solar ignitions. But I feel like you can get more out of this build with other weapons.
@@lskruffyl1645 I think Polaris is great for single target and ads but for hordes of enemies 4 feet from your face it’s hard to use. Sunshot single target lacks. Only other one that comes to mind is skyburners which Tommy’s is 100% better imo
Works totally fine without, so I believe the footage I didn't use any. But definitely would recommend using all the solar focused ones (for example torch, revitalizing blast, etc)
Update: very good, but as you get to the upper levels of onslaught, it gets hard to use since the super regen is meh. Still very good tho up to like lvl 30
