Good suggestions, but I would suggest using an arc weapon, like Forbearance with Unrelenting and Chain Reaction. Get the Fragment which blinds when you are amplified and shoot the enemenie to not only blind and explode, but also BLIND AND EXPLODE MORE. For Primary you can use something with Kinetic tremors for the extra stagger and for heavy - Anarchy. With this setup nothing survives, and even if it does, it is blinded.
I got my first legend Onslaught clear using the vesper of radius, but I used indebted kindness with voltshot to create more ionic traces from jolted enemies and conditional finality for that heavy close range damage. I also had 100 resilience, 100 recovery, and 100 discipline.
Been loving Vesper in Onslaught. I routinely use flashbang grenades. Especially when they send in waves of Tormentors. I spam the flashbangs, the Tormentors are blinded and my teammates mop them up. It's a lot of fun watching five tormentors walking around blinded.
I'll try this out. Though, l'll swap magnitude out for beacons and run a indebted kindness with voltshot for more blinds. It's also just a harder hitting weapon. Then probably an osmosis hand cannon and thunderlord for the exotic. That way, every weapon slot hits hard and also covers every champion.
I love this exotic. One thing thats great about it that gets overlooked often is that blinded enemies are basically meatshields against enemies at a distance.
I made a build just like this on day one and I can confirm how nicely it cooks/shuts everything down 😊 I haven’t tested it yet, but I was considering going with Buried Bloodline since I was getting enough blind from my rifts and it would massively boost the aggressive playstyle with Devour plus give you additional grenade regen and additional weaken debuffs for your team with the catalyst BTW congrats on going to full-time content creation!!!🎉
I always love the Vesper with Stasis and the "Using class ability does a freezing shockwave" aspect/fragment. Nothing quite like freezing then killing everything with almost infinite class energy Edit: Vesper not Vector
I've been running this for awhile(Even submitted a variant of it, 'Surrounded by the Blind') except the main difference is to include a special voltshot weapon(Like Itterative Loop) and Spark of Beacons for more blinding to go with the blinding
Thank you mactics for will it builds videos. I’m a new player to D2 for maybe 6 months. Was constantly getting destroyed until your videos. Keep up the great work!
I have used this build for my Arc subclass for some time now. But would like to try yours. It wasn't much different in some ways but worth trying. Back in last season or two ago. The artifacts made a BIG difference. You could drop a rift anytime you wanted. turned you into a tank. And had fun helping other in my team at the same time. was Great!
Here’s another build for the warlock first we start if with are exotic the fallen sunstar paired with indebted kindness for blinds that go along with the spark of beacons with our other fragments being spark of ions and discharge for ionic traces and spark of amplitude for orbs now our aspects are electrostatic mind to play into blind and traces and arc soul for free damage and rift gen Now into armor mods we have Double special ammo finder with harmonic siphon for the helmet Focusing strike and bolstering detonation for more rift gen and a harmonic loader just in case you run out of ammo in a fight for the gauntlets Now we go triple arc reserves for the chest armor Arc weapon surge recuperation and arc scavenger for the legs And reaper bomber and special finisher for the bond And for the heavy you can use either thunder lord to play into arc or dragons breath for raw dps potential anyways have a good day
I must say you are phenomonal to describe in a "teacher" way. Not speed every line up. Very easy to understand and also the super nice graphic on the weapon, really nice work! Good luck on your new full time career ❤
I am just getting back into the game for final shape and all the meta builds I don't have any exotics for. Thank you for finally giving me something usable!
This is actually my go-to build for GMs and other end-game activities (that is if you know enemy spawn points). It has very little support to other players other than blinding things. In a good team, in the onslaught, it can slaughter everything! But I prefer a ceno or final warning swarmer add clear and apothesis well in the boss room. This is how I can add the most value to a fireteam with random LFGs.
I think a good exotic to pair with this would actually be Anarchy. You can lay traps in the spawn points and pair that damage with the rift damage for extreme DPS. Add the new rocket sidearm with Voltshot for ionic traces and additional ad-clear potential, and then either a good hand cannon, auto rifle, or SMG for close-range auxiliary ad-clear. Bada-bing, bada-boom, amazing Arc ad clear build.
The Subjunctive is great for most content, but for later waves of Onslaught, I would highly recommend Indebted Kindness with either Surrounded (damage) or Voltshot (jolt--->ionic traces). Remember to add Spark of Beacons to have blinding on command at a safe distance. It also helps that Sidearms deal with Barrier champions.
Id recommend not using a shotgun and using indebted kindness. Ive been using this exotic since it came out and used trace rifles before indebted came out. The sidearm makes this a gamechanger. I use it for gms, maater dungeons, legend onslaught etc.
I run it with Indebted Kindness (beacon rounds and Attrition orbs), Crux Termination (envious assasin and surrounded), exotic of choice in the kinetic slot. Fragments: resistance, shock, beacons (while amplified your arc special weapon final blows blows create a blinding explosion), dealers choice last fragment.
@@Thorus08 I imagine it’s because of the recommendation of Witherhoard and double special isn’t as good as it used to be for ammo economy. That’s just my guess
Almost the build I have. Crafted Come To Pass with enhanced wellspring and geniuses works great for me. Scatter Signal in primary with enhanced Controlled Burst and Slice. With your artifact perks and slice work great since you’ll be throwing down rift all the time. And finally I personally use leviathans Breath for heavy. It deals with unstoppable champs and stuns the big bads. I ran a fifty onslaught with friends and in the end their kills were in the 300’s mine was in the 700’s. It’s a super aggressive build that works wonders in onslaught.
This build is INSANEEEEE I’m constantly getting my super back. Plus with forbearance coming to non raiders it’s soooo satisfying to shock everything in my LOS
I used this with a Prodigal Return arc gl with blinding grenades, turnabout, and danger zone for less self damage, a primary kinetic with osmosis, and Queenbreaker for heavy in day 1 raids. I think I want to try it with Anarchy, an arc primary, and a strand fusion...
don't forget that the ehnaced Golden Tricorn's 50% damage buff can be refreshed by weapon kills as well! just get the one ability kill and you are chilling on the 50% damage buff as long as there are enemies
This is the exotic armor I got my day one legend 50 clear. I ran Anarchy for my exotic weapon and nation of beast as my primary with dragonfly / volt shot
As somebody returning to D2 after leaving shortly after Lightfall… what should I prioritize collecting for the “meta”? There is a whole lot going on haha
Completed legend with similar build, but I ran centrifuse with the aspect that arc kills made ionic traces, and centrifuse kills when amp'd (which was nearly constant) blinded. Blinding nades, plus vesper rifts, equals everything is blind most of the time except champs but they still get jolted. Hullabaloo envious/chain for waves of ads, and buzzard for anti barriers. Stormstrance super puts in work in the onslaught areas and a quick switch to chaos reach or well for the boss rooms. This week is arc burn, so I'm thinking about loading up riskruner to see how that goes. I will lose a bit of blinding from centrifuse, but I think it'll be ok.
Ive used this build with Stasis.. its wonderful.. you get the blind arc and the freeze with casting Rift.. with the aspect. then exploding stasis everwhere on frozen enemy kills.
Indebted Kindness with volt shot with this build effectively blinds the map. People just don't understand how op blind can be until you've CCd waves of enemies as the stumble around with their heads in their arms
Use. A. Glaive. This build goes next level! I also use a slice (so many rifts) and deconstruct (infinite ammo) tusk of the boar as my primary! Not 100% sold on an exotic yet! Been using tractor cannon…
Storm nade is currently bugged so the new flat ability regen modifiers don't apply to it, so it beneifts disproportionately from things like ionic traces and kickstarts. The more you know.
So many missed possibilities with this build. Using Coldheart not only generates more traces, but the fragment for Arc Special Weapon Kills Generate a Blinding Explosion, on top of Vesper blinding everything gives you way higher ceiling to keep things locked down. If youre getting jolt from melee & grenades, you dont really need a voltshot smg. You could go Centerfuse if you an an AR player and get more traces and blinds, etc. There are just a bunch of other options that work a bit better overall.
Love me some Vespers great build vid! Only thing is reaper (orb after next kill following class ability) is a little redundant since orbs are already everywhere and you're generating them from weapon kills. Isn't a little risky getting this close to enemies in 40+ level onslaught? The enemies further away that aren't blinded can shred you in a healing rift
Don’t forget the added damage resistance from the fragment. But you’re right. Though that’s why you have blinding grenades (personally I’d be swapping witherhoard for a blinding GL) to suppress those distant enemies

I have a question: Is it more important to use mods to increase ability score, or use mods to add buffs and synergies. For instance, you're using Harmonic Siphon and 2 x Dynamo on the helmet. this comes out to 7 points spent on mods, leaving 3 points left over.
