We Ran 3 Vesper of Radius in GMs. It Was (Mostly) a Great Idea.

- While I end up running GMs with my friends Jez and Danielle once a season, I also run them with my raid team where we run some more interesting loadouts and builds. For Season 21, we're stacking 3 Vesper of Radius, freshly buffed, while Arc still has 5 seasonal perks. And it went great, although it's not perfect.

Dynamo, bomber, and distribution make vesper insane. The amount of grenades and supers you get with an exotic that buffs your class ability is insane

Rock this with a glaive and the blinding fragment and you have such a crazy build. In the dungeon this build goes hard especially with the artifact mods this season.

Lmao seeing that servitor just move past Datto like that at 2:58 reminds me of a clip my friend sent of when we were at final stand in trio Oryx, he's shooting whisper at Oryx and then you just see me run past his scope to go and detonate another bomb

With how much you’ve been stressing knowing Spawn Locations in your recent videos I’d be interested in seeing a GM guide for some of the newer stuff (Battlegrounds, neomuna strike)
Run them on legend by yourself or with a buddy and the spawns will reveal themselves

This makes me think of how I rediscovered how nutty Prometheus Lens is, combining it with Scorch spawning Firesprites, Firesprites granting Restoration, and Solar kills extending Restoration. I'm nearly unkillable in most activities. Haven't tested it in GM's, but maybe next season when Solar is in the Elemental rotation and we get some sick Artifact mods.
Yippyyy a Vesper Video revisit, definitely a power house of an exotic now. I will say for those wanting to be in the fray/wanting to do this as a solo vesper, having a Glaive is incredibly helpful while you're learning spawns and getting the hang of things. Just rift up, toss a nad, and block with a couple shots to keep the shield active while everything dies to your DoT. You can sit in the middle of enemies too allowing your rift to recharge INSANEly quickly. (keeps you from getting booped during the corrupted as well). Other than that, powerful attraction as displayed + orb generation and all the ability regen stuff based off melee/class ability, just fantastic stuff.
Takin a break from the game rn, really demoralized, but still gonna keep up with the content. Love the vids king, keep it up.
Datto, your music selection has been top tier
I actually prefer delicate tomb over cold heart for the constant jolting of everything. Which does well for taking out overloads and adding some extra dps when needed (if fusions still have the most jolt damage modifier)
The additional Ionic Traces from laying into a target with Coldheart is most likely what Datto was building into, but I agree that Delicate Tomb kicks ass.
@@skipventure5158 right, but ionic trace generation is also baked into Delicate tomb.
I think coldheart is also amazing, but just better at single target damage.
Where vesper is good, so is delicate tomb.

It's been my go to this season since the buffs, with coldheart and a wendigo with cascade, then either an auto or hand cannon. So fun, and so consistent

Me and two buddies were running GMs with this, but with me on Omni hunter. Go invis, they pop rift, go invis again. Works really well and is fun too
Ran full arc/full clan GOTD last night, I went warlock with Vesper and my god I was just destroying everything. Glad this came out today haha.

I was LFG'ing last night (last night of double rewards/rep on Fallen Saber) and I was carrying pretty hard but having SO much fun running Vesper.
Arc warlock feels amazing this season
Obviously for a lot of players and content, your load out should be tailored for yourself. But I really enjoy building as a group, to synergize with each other more than just "I stun barrier, you stun overload." It can open up some fun concepts, like having one person be the scorcher and another be the igniter, etc. It obviously requires a lot more coordination, but Destiny is a community game, meant to be played in groups.
I'd really like to see some Team Build videos, where Datto builds a full fireteam.
I wish the game had content that made going through the effort and practice to do something like that worth it
Thank you Datto for not just being a Negative Nancy like all the other destiny creators right now and making good videos that keep me entertained and give me hope that the game is still as amazing as always has been

I have used a version of this build with a glaive (Nezarec's Whisper with Demolitionist for extra grenades) all season long. You are unkillable with your shield up and can one-shot red bars and blind surrounding enemies from a distance to more easily close the gap.
Because I'm always up close and personal, Conditional Finality is the perfect weapon to immobilize or destroy any beefy target.
Commemoration rounds this loadout out. It's good for distant targets and clears anything that has not been zapped to shreds by my pulse grenades and healing rifts. Also makes running double special a little easier.
i agree this is definitely the best loadout to run with vesper, riskrunner and riptide/lingering dread deserve an honorable mention though

Most fun I've had in PvE in forever. So long as they keep buffing exotics the same way they did Vesper and not Burning Steps or Battle Harmony we'll be in good shape

I run this for every GM. Vesper. Wishender for Barriers, glaive for unstop/extra survivability and then you have nades for Overload

Yeah this exotic has been my go to arc build since its rework
It's honestly a second grenade with blinding effects to make some spawntraps
with vespers and a chill clip fusion you could solo just about anything
This build funny, I did this with friends and we used centrifuse and blinding gls and nothing could see. Just walking into a room of gm enemies and ignoring them
this feels like the old storm grenade/hoil titan build but its bit more risky since you have to be close. the titan was just, sit somewhere safe, toss nade, result.
Is anyone going to acknowledge the fact that the servitor in fallen saber strolling through is the goat?
I've been using it since the buff and its awesome for agressive players, combo it with a glaive with immovable object and you're basically unkillable.

Pro Vesper Tip: guard with an energy transfer sword for extra damage resist and even faster rift generation.
A glaive gives better DR and doesn’t take up your heavy slot
@@ThatLazyyGuy That is an apropriate tradeoff given how sword damage resist is completely free while also granting ability regen. Also not much is stopping you from using the sword like an actual sword, En Garde vortex frames are still worth the burst damage.

I prefer using this exotic in stasis more then in arc. Mostly because arc already has fallen sunstar. But those freezing rifts? They are quite potent...

Just imagine if vesper got more subclass verbs than just Arc.
Just imagine instant ignitions, freezes, suppressions, suspends… all of them pulsing every 5 seconds.
That would make it Bombardier's older brother. I think limiting it to Arc is good for Vesper to retain it's identity, as well as making sure things don't get too nutty. Plus, all of the other Warlock subclasses have the ability to apply a subclass verb with their class abilities, such as the Void "Child of the Old Gods" applying Weakness, the Solar "Phoenix Dive" applying Restoration, the Stasis "Frostpulse" applying Freeze, and the Strand "Weavers Call" creating Threadlings (which I think can Sever, as well as Unravel if you're wearing Swarmers). Vesper now closes that gap with Blind upon a shockwave kill! It's a textbook rework in my opinion.
I use vesper with stasis, equip frostpulse aspect plus whisper of bonds , refraction , chains plus dynamo bomber etc... is just insane. throw a rift, froze everything and vesper kills evetything with the pulse! lots of super, ability extra fast!
@@rvalladares also wild build. It pairs really well with conditional finality for extra close range freezes.
I did my first gm nf and it was fun we had a VoR lock strand titan and pole hunter got through it in 25 mins
I like 2 vesper warlocks, and one cenotaph warlock running div. my FT was ripping thru fallen saber last week in 13ish min runs. And we're FAR from god-tier/streamer caliber.
What to do when you bored in destiny. Use meme exotics in gms, lol.
