For a story outside of Treyarchs zombies, Exo Zombies did a pretty good job of making a dark but futuristic story. No alternate dimensions or Galactic conflict sort of business, just a world superpower f**king up massively and trying to profit off the infection. A simple but interesting storyline, and on top of that, awesome guest stars. Good job Exo Zombies!
Having Bill Paxton be part of it is one of the coolest things to me. Hes the only actor to hav been killed by not only the Alien and the Predator, but also the Terminator, so its about time he got to survive instead of being killed by the bad guys.
Its atlas for some reason released maticore one for turning everyone to dead and one to exo zombies and there using those four characters to fight the outbreak
One thing that i love is that exo zombies actually focuses on how it starts. Also i have a headcanon that exo zombies takes place in an alternate timeline when gideon and mitchell fail to stop the manticore missle. Something in the manticore production went wrong and turned them into zombies
Actually, if my memory serves me right, Irons did note that the Manticore bio weapon did have a unintended side effect of reanimating dead tissues, or something like that.
But Gideon was in the first cutscene, and he's wearing an atlas uniform instead of a sentinel outfit, so in my theory they developed manticore before Mitchell even joined ATLAS.

This was actually the first Zombies since WaW that geniually gave me a horror vibe. I loved the feel of a dark, futuristic zombies setting. Also maybe because the story didn’t have any magic, it takes place after the campaign, in survival, Altas dropped one of their manticore bombs which turned the enemy into zombies by mistake. It didn’t have the weird aliens like Treyarch or the stupid mythical shit WW2 had.

JustBurb With something like military training, you may forget you were part of the military but you won’t forget what you do. The military drills so many things i to you and makes you repeat those things over and over to make it almost second nature when you actually need to use those skills.
This is how another company does Zombies right. Love the cinematics, and loved how it stayed true to the formula, but innovated to make it it's own thing

My guess is in a different universe, Geidon, Micheal, and Ilona did not receive the message that Hades give them and were still with Atles, and Irons was able to launch manticore, they thought it'll end the war but instead they made zombies that were able to use exosuits to infect others, if you think of it, Geidon was part of Atles still when the virus happened and got infected by it

WW2 zombies and EXO zombies had me shiting myself back then by far the most scariest zombies for me
