MVH are truly legends! Its awesome what they have done for sim racers
Amazing review and definitely a wheel I will add to my desk setup.
Thanks for this video! I'm glad there is something to look forward to. Since I have a Thrustmaster T818, I'm HOPING that there will be some future Wheel/Rim options, either by Thrustmaster OR ANY other third-party companies, willing to make varied accessories. It's ashame that TM hasn't made more accessories available for their T818 Series lineup.
The mentioned Thrustmaster adapter we will be releasing soon, will emulate a Thrustmaster wheel so it will work on the T818.
@@MVHStudios AWESOME! Can't WAIT! 👏
Hi,
I want this wheel with thrustmaster ts xw. I have a QR like your h29.
Its possible?
This wheel is amazing! 🔥
How well does the wheel re-center on the Logitech G29 and does it work better with steering assist on or off? Thanks for the review.
Does it come with the usb adapter for the dd when you choose direct drive systems option on the website or do you have to buy it separately?
You got it right, the Direct Drive option comes with the USB adaptor.
Can you please, send me a link on their website, to that round copper piece, that makes part of their quick release system. I don't see it on their list of accessories.
Just email them directly, they are very helpful.
Thanks for this wonderful video
At minute 9:08
I saw a screen showing cars behind you. What is the screen name please?
It's this ruclips.net/video/Nci-vz5VAyA/видео.html running SimHub.
@@SimRacingCorner Thank you for the response. No, I did not mean this screen. Rather, I meant displaying a screen and seeing the cars behind you, and I think its name is CA5 m3 BOSCH.
That's the game cockpit view in the GT3 BMW in AMS2.
Nice review as always. Keeping am eye for when they get it working with the logitech big brother....though i worry that will have to transplant some parts for original wheel. Sorry if i missed this but can the grips be upgraded not a fan of the stock ones.....they look like they can get grimmy.
The handles are part of the frame, and the grips are moulded directly on, so not really anything you can change out. They can be easily wiped down with a damp cloth, though.
When we release it for the Pro, you most definitely will not need anything from the stock round wheel. We make our own electronics for it.
@@MVHStudios thank you for clarifying. Was mainly concerned about the QR.
That is yet to be confirmed. If we need to, we will make our own but its likely we can get the QR from Logitech once they start releasing their new wheels later this year. @@tamaz125
@@MVHStudios thanks for taking the time to respond. As you can imagine am.really forward to having different rim options
How comfortable this wheel for big hands, because I have fanatec formula v2.5 and it is painful and uncomfortable, how about this wheel 280mm??? Thanks
I've just compared the two wheels in my hands. The grips a bit thicker than the Fanatec formula, and there is 20mm more clearance for your lower fingers, over the Fanatec.
@@SimRacingCorner so mvh is more comfortable, correct?
@@ddsracingfl I imagine it should be if you have large hands, as there is more room around the handles. I have medium-sized hands, and the Fanatec Formula is okay for me, but only just. The MVH steering wheel is more roomy around my grip, so there is a fair difference.
@@SimRacingCorner got it thank you 🙏
do one on the f1 series please
I sincerely appreciate the work that MVH have put into this wheel! It’s a shame it comes out to the same price in Canada as a simagic gt neo. And that’s before adding a QR. I just can’t justify it :/.
Hey, I'm also from Canada. Does Simagic GT Neo support PS4? I'm currently running a G29 and looking for an upgrade. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks!
@@joshuapinter unfortunately there is no official support for PlayStation with simagic products. There is a device called the sigma cortex that apparently gives PlayStation support but I don't have any personal experience with it. I had a G29 and used it a lot for a long time. Tbh you are better off upgrading wheelbases than spending this much money on a new wheel for the G29 base, at least in my opinion. If you need PlayStation support you will need a wheelbase thats licensed by sony for PS support. As far as I know the main ones that do are the fanatec, thrustmaster, and Logitech. But all of them only on certain bases. The G29 base is very entry level. If you are looking to spend this kind of money on a new wheel I would recommend getting a better base first. If I were you I'd do some research on the sigma cortex and see if it's any good or not. Idk personally I'm only on PC. If it works then I'd def go with simagic. They have by far the best ecosystem and highest quality for the money. Especially here in Canada.
@@joshuapinter No and Im not sure it could even go on your G29.
For a DD wheel base, its up in the air. GT Neo is nicer construction, but this has a display. For logitech users, its the highest quality option at a solid price, and can be used on DD wheelbase if/when they upgrade.
does it actually alter the g923 function? like will my console still recognize it as a g923 and is all the logitech software still functioning or is all of that overridden by the mod software
This is covered this in the video. But the short answer is, it still remains console compatible.
Does Simhub work on a Mac? I don’t own a PC.
No, PC only. But I really just wanted to reply with "Are there games on the Mac? 😂"
Ha. I am getting a PC in the next couple of months and was thinking about getting this wheel sooner but if I can’t use my work laptop to set it up then I’ll just wait.
I don't know how to get the display onto simhub can anyone help?
Looks nice, but the diameter is too small
