No matter what anybody says, FSU is not one of the four best teams. Even if Florida States beats Louisville, the CFP should have 1 loss Oregon, Ohio State, Texas, and potentially 2-loss Alabama ranked ahead of them.

Correct. The reason they like to play Bowl games is the money they obtain for the school. Plus FSU has amazing boosters supporting the school itself. They are doing a major renovation of Doak. I believe it is a 230 million dollar update. My former husband and my daughter both graduated from FSU. So go noles.

I’m pumped we won but still pissed at that 3rd down unnecessary roughness call at the start of 2nd quarter. That led to a touchdown for UF and it should’ve been a long field goal attempt.

The sack by Akeem Dent needs to be investigated by the ACC--there was nothing wrong with it and no penalty was deserved.
But it was too easy and nobody blocked him..... so it MUST have been a penalty somehow.
After falling down 12-0, the Noles outscored the Gators 24-3 to close out the game. Great bounceback.

Amazing rivalry weekend. Just about every major rivalry game went down to the wire. Most of us expected FSU to win this game, but I think UF will be a much better squad in the near future. I'm glad this rivalry is hot and intense once again.

And Washington had their starting qb. Tate obviously wasn’t perfect but he didn’t turn the ball over. I’d rather take a safety than throw a pick 6 or have a fumble/ interception lead to a touchdown

He came back after getting completely shwacked on that illegal hit. He didn't play good, but he didn't play bad. Not turning over the ball is a victory in itself. It's little things.

Look at where FSU is now. Them boys were a dumpster fire few years ago and even when they hired Norvell it still wasn’t butterflies and roses. Year one with FSU Norvell went 3-6 and year 2 he went 5-7 followed by a 10-3 campaign his 3rd year to 12-0 this year. Like I said if I don’t see a dramatic change by year 3 for Napier then yes it’s time to start looking in a different direction. But the man wasn’t going to change this bs for the better over night.

I really wish they would remove roughness penalties against defensive players that hit a qb. When you're running full speed trying to hit the qb running the ball, it's not their fault they can't pull up. The qb slide right at the same time the hit was coming. The hit was clean.
There is no way a defender can position themselves to hit a player that low to the ground without knowing that he's sliding. I've seen many bad personal foul calls but that my friend was not one of them.
Now the sack on UF's QB was indeed laughable and should be where you have an issue with the call.

As an FSU fan, I will give our team credit for coming back in the second half and turning it around. Man did we look AWFUL in the first half, but thank god, we punched back and found a way to get the W and remain unbeaten. Credit to Florida for giving us a tough fight, though. I am done with this coaching staff. Tackling and lack of discipline got worse as the season went on. Napier is in over is head. If I saw any improvement at all, I would give him another year. But both years have been the same story and we get worse as the season goes on. Good coaches see their teams improve. Napier should go back to the little pond. Power 5 is too big for him
