    These are essential for learning. The form is so complex which makes it difficult to go inside the body. These repeating moves allow the mind to relax into the body.
    Without moves like this the form will be too external.

    This looks almost the exact same as Bruce Frantzis"Arm swinging" chigong exercises.

    • @yjmsrv
      @yjmsrv 6 лет назад +5

      I'd say that's because it basically is. It's Yang style taiji Song Shen Wu Fa- so it's a chi gong exercise... same lineage

    When they come up the hands must stay on the same alignment as they were when they left your side. They must NEVER go forward. And, when doing the second exercise, the hands drop until the arms are straight. The elbows aren't pulled out, even slightly. As for the third exercise - you're pulling your elbows into the same line as your body. The elbows "pause" until the arms are straight and then the arms go back to the side. In the fourth exercise the legs straighten until your fingers reach the knees. Then you sink the knees and the spine straightens. It doesn't straighten the way you're doing it.

      Just curious have you mastered releasing/utilizing the various Jins as this Sifu has? I think it's working for him. But please link to your school where you have taught your students great internal skills. Btw not affiliated with this school in any way I just appreciate good Kung Fu.

      Reminds me of The Three Hermits by Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy. A Buddhist version is the tale of Sakya Pandita having tea with a Yogi who he had previously overheard mispronouncing the Vajrakilaya mantra. The Yogi said "I'm doing it wrong you say?" while casually plunging his ritual Kila peg into the solid rock wall of his cave.

      stretching the fascia of the body, the white tissue to open up all the joints in the body so you can use more fascia, ligament and tendon elasticity rather than just bone and muscle

      You got that right. Not even anyone in MMA or UFC could even move him. These sport fighters like McGregor or Mayweather and Tyson are dust. Absolutley nothing.

      @@seanhand396 I was joking. I am sure a UFC fighter would say yes to earning a quick buck in a fight against him. So, Mizner could become an instant millionaire if he agreed to such a fight. But I am sure he would have a string of "reasons" (excuses) for not doing it.

      This is a releasing exercise for the promotion of internal, whole-system transmission of energy. You are missing the point. Why talk of a challenge here? If you hold only a hammer, you see every encounter as a nail ...

      What's very interesting about this comment is that it is four years after sifu posted it
      Any UFC fighter 7 years ago is no longer relevant
      And sifu Mizner online course is still helping practioners reach their goals including myself.
      He still grows in popularity still gets new crops of haters and is still living his best life. There is a lot to learn from. All of this
