@@Cholesterol-w1j Don't you understand the full meaning of "study"? In the early 60's dojos were not on every street corner in the US. I had to travel quite a distance to first practice Judo and then Aikido. Going away to college I had to switch to Karate as that was only what was available in that small town and on campus. At all of those places, I encountered only people interested in "studying" and "practicing" their art. They were respectful of each other and eager to learn. Reading your comment, I guess that has changed also.

Two hours every night, six days a week sometimes we have four hrs special Sunday training. There’s not a lot of students in a class as most of don’t last long.

I myself have bought several books of Shihan Nakayama. My best honour to him, may he rest in Peace, along with the late Master Enoeda. A beautiful piece of art to their memory and their followers. Many thanks, Paul,68, retired instructor of Karate,

While this vid may seem old fashioned, we should remember that it was made in a totally different time. Where a good elbow to the stomach or side kick to the tummy could discourage many would be nasties.
Not like nowadays when many baddies will have watched uft and can evade or counter basic self defence.
That said this vid is delightful and must have inspired many beginners who went on to do great training.❤😊❤

Of course, the rest of the world can learn a lot of self-defence from this film to handle situations in their own countries. 😐
