Ich bin in März in Phuket für 3 Wochen, allerdings bin ich beim Nachbar Strand Surin Beach und trainiere bei Gracie Barra mit💪🏻 vllt mache ich auch ein Abstecher bei denen :)
It's really hard to answer that. There are too many factors at play. Look after your immune system and personal hygiene. Prevent cuts and grazes where possible. Periodise your training to avoid overtraining. Get enough sleep. Hydrate and fuel well. Take rest and treat your skin at the first signs of infection. All these tips can help lower your risk but unfortunately there's no guarantee.
I've seen many kids join the Muay Thai classes and we also occasionally have children train Jiu-Jitsu. Generally speaking, there are way more adults than kids, though. Hope that helps! 🙌
It's been a couple of years now, I'm not sure what I paid back then - but you can check out their prices here: bangtaomuaythai.com/prices/ You'll find accommodations on platforms like airbnb or booking. Cost of living can be as cheap as you make it. You'll save money if you cook yourself or eat out at the cheap local restaurants. The ringside cafe at the gym is great but more pricey.
I loved Bangtao as a beginner, haven't trained at any of the other gyms. Bangtao might be a bit pricier in comparison - but it also offers grappling, MMA and fitness classes plus it's close to the beaches.

Kann ich nur empfehlen! Bangtao ist definitv den Besuch wert - nicht nur für Jiu-Jitsu, aber auch das Ringen!
Awesome, did it rain there much at that time ? (thinking of going at September there)
Yeah, it did rain quite a bit last year. Rainy season is from June to October but you still get a decent amount of sunny days.

Hey there awesome video! Do you think it's possible to prevent staph for 3 months training in Thailand?

Good to find this video ahead of going to Bangtao Muay Thai next month. This wasn't your first ever attempt at training these martial arts, was it?
I'm glad you found this helpful! I had trained Jiu-Jitsu for a few years but I was (and still am) relatively new to Muay Thai. :)
Anyone know if kids can join the classes? My sons 11 and Im torn between here and Nova

Where do you buy your shorts with the flags of Nations bro ?
They're from an Aussie brand called "Engage"... 🔥
