So glad to see this being addressed. Since my extremely chaotic divorce 15 years ago, I’ve moved cities and houses with my son too many times to count. Nothing ever stabilized and I never caught up. I feel like I’ve had 15 years of “exception moments” and everyone expected me to adapt like a “normal” person. Grief, loss, isolation, poverty, constant moves. Exhausted.
I am awestruck about how much incredible information you packed into this 13-minute video! Everything from clearly explaining the issue through effective solutions for the challenges. So much love and empathy in this video! I have ADHD & so does my adolescent daughter. You just gave me GOLD advice for understanding my daughter's ups and downs due to hormonal fluctuations and how to help her ride the waves with confidence, awareness & success. From my heart to yours - thank you! You are a lovely person Jaye. Your communication style and clear love for what you do make your videos a joy to watch. Thank you for choosing this profession & touching the lives of us ADHDers who get beaten down so easily. You are a force of light - thank you 🤗
Thank you for being there Jaye Lin. Thank you for matching a set of vocabulary to the experience. I am in an exception moment :'( Taking a pause is sometimes unobtainable.
Good day and thanks for sharing. I have a question to ask. What could be said about someone's career interests changing frequently, shifting between 3-4 different career paths within a 6-month period. Is this attributed to ADHD? What could be the underlying reason for this pattern of behavior, and how can they find focus and stability in their interests and career path?
