Small correction: Not all the D's were special people. Just some of them. I mean Law's parents clearly weren't exceptional people and Portgas D Rouge wasn't exactly some Super Woman who fought the Government.
Portgas D Rouge literally held her pregnancy for twenty months through sheer willpower. If that's not exceptional, i don't know what is. Being exceptional doesn't only mean being strong and having the ability to fight bad guys, it can refer to other types of strengths
I imagine Rouge may have known more of the world's true history from Roger and as such named Ace that since it was what Roger wanted for him. It's also possible she gave herself that name for the same reason in remembrance of Roger and Joyboy's goals. We were only introduced to her in a flashback/retelling that had a lot of hindsight being used so it's unlikely that anyone kept tabs on her to know if she was even born a "D" to begin with (I mean even Roger's crew didn't seem to know she existed)
how do you know that? we dont know anything about Law's parents, and we only know about Rouge's death and the months that led up to it. we dont know what Law's parents did in their lives, and if Roger fell in love with Rouge, she must have been pretty badass herself. i would bet she was a pirate. i dont know if Law's family were pirates, i think probably not, but come on, how can we possibly say that they werent important when we dont even know their names?

Wild thought but what if some d clan members got turned into animals(either by joyboy or Imu) and their descendants are the same animals that ceasar experimented on to create SAD and then the smile fruits from SAD, it would explain the non involuntary laughter as a side effect from smile fruit users, it would also explain minks too
Zoan have their own will Gorosei said, so it is possible that it is a fruit that would rather choose someone with that particular action when about to die.
The Kozuki Clan being a part of the D clan but hiding it might have something to do with the fact that whoever it was probably closed Wano's borders or had someone else do it. Perhaps passing it on would give the future descendents of the Kozuki a reason to open the borders prematurely.
Not every D is extraordinary. Not all D clan members die with a smile (that was never said in the story itself). For example, at least one of Law's parents was a D (since one of them passed down the initial D to him), but they both seem pretty ordinary. Their deaths were pretty unremarkable without any smile to be seen.

Or even Rouge Etc...not every D dies special or with a smile same with Celestial dragons not each one is super special we are saying having that blood/name gives you to ability to be special think of Luffy/Roger/Ace/Dragon/Garp/Blackbeard/Saul/Clover/Law/Rocks etc.. these aren't regular people in the one piece world especially when it it comes to changing it
@@pitoseavy4523 I understand that. But I don't think we know how representative this small group of important characters is of the D clan as a whole (every single D clan member over the last 800 years). If they happen to be exceptions and not the norm, it would be unfair to hinge the theory on that assumption (Morj bases his claim that all progenitors of the D clan were exceptional on the assumption that most of their descendants are exceptional).
they seem ordinary, but how could we possibly know that? we dont know anything about them except for the tiny tiny snapshot in law's flashback. for all we know, they could have had incredible lives and done amazing things and it's just not relevant to the story right now, if it ever will be. we dont even know their names! they probably werent pirates or high ranking marines or anything like that, but there are a lot of ways to be extraordinary. we dont know anything about them

what might have the Jolly Roger of that "Dawn Pirates" looked like? probably some sort of (rising?) Sun - with or without that capital D in it. And maybe that sun-symbol might be the origin of so many other clans and kingdoms´ own flag and seal.
Nice great video, I also like that the strawhats resemble the connection of the sun rising over the horizon, so a new take on the dawn pirates. Very poetic!
I don’t think Lily switches sides. I think she just had a responsibility to her country. The same way the Strawhats left Vivi at Alabasta because she still had to rebuild her country which is more important than being a pirate.
Or maybe Lily wasn't ruler of Alabasta at the time the war began and assumed it near the end. What if their was a Cobra like figure but he was deceived like how Crocodile deceived the nation. Lily would then try to undo the damage that her father did any way she could. I thinking Lily's story completely parallels Vivi's. I think she was allies with Joyboy even before the war but was unable to stop her kingdom from fighting the Ancient Kingdom. Her spreading the Ponoglyphs was her apology to Joyboy that her Kingdom went against him
I could see that Lili was in a situation were she had to choose between the eternal life and Imu vs joyboy , the dawn pirates and freedom…but not only for what is best for her, but also for her country…. Which pains imu till this day…..aaaaah I can’t wait for her story in the void-century throwback 😭✨
18:41 I like this point you made, about them each being a new crew. I don't think luffy will be a descendant of joyboy, I think ace and roger were. Though when thinking of it it's very unlikely. I think it will be much more impactful if luffy wasn't, because then it would be not the literal descendants of the dawn pirates but those who carry the wills. I think each straw hat will parallel one of the dawn pirates in some way, and I really hope it isn't "they were all from legendary families!" It'd be more thematic if the experiences of people molded them into legends
i agree yeah i think oda’s been super cool about highlighting how somebody’s family name doesn’t have to define them with ace and roger we know oda’s politically super well-read and that it informs his art. i’m reminded of the quote: “Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past. The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of the living. And just as they seem to be occupied with revolutionizing themselves and things, creating something that did not exist before, precisely in such epochs of revolutionary crisis they anxiously conjure up the spirits of the past to their service, borrowing from them names, battle slogans, and costumes in order to present this new scene in world history in time-honored disguise and borrowed language.”
I think zunesha is more the parallel of laboon than like chopper. Laboon bashing his head into the wall , zunesha walking the ocean nothing waiting for their former friends or crew mates
Very good theory! An interesting follow up from it is that if Joyboy had a traitor in his crew and Oden had Kanjuro, the question will arise if there would also be a traitor in the Straw Hat Pirates. I bet Oda will play with this and put Usopp in a very tough situation to sell out the crew (like it was hinted in Wano) and Usopp will not fold, he will be loyal and become a great warrior of the see (even if it means he dies in the process).
also for what it's worth, i think the "ancient kingdom" just is the pirate crew. joyboy was the pirate king. the "kingdom" wasnt actually a kingdom, it was just a dominant pirate crew, like a yonkou crew. it was probably more like the whitebeard pirates than alabasta
Lili's role is similar to Shinobu's in Wano. It was Shinobu that pread the word of Oden's deeds. It was also her that wasnt really a scabbard, but was made an honorary scabbard
It's always chilling for me whenever the topics like the D clan and how they have such an ability to withstand great punishment in battle and especially that special attribute where they all die with a smile on their face. Although I don't think Blackbeard has this trait.
It will be dope when luffy becomes king the spirit of Joyboy or Nika comes to congratulate Luffy at the end for achieving the goals and restoring the D. clan
to support this theory i recall the moment when Sabo asked Ace about the D. and Ace said something like? Do you want to have a D. in your name too from now on? Alright here you go! i need to find it, I’m certain there was something like that
@@calebcarver5082 i might missed that part, but isn't it logic that the World Goverment owns a Ponegliff for themselves to keep anyone from finding the One Piece, since Joyboy is also the Sun God Nika he might be the one who gave Imu that scar since the void century, anyway its just an theory i came across youtube, we'll just let Oda Cook and find out

Interesting theory. I think you might be right and I do foresee an interesting interaction where this realization dawns on Luffys crew whose shoes they’re filling even Luffy himself realizing he was the crew of Gods facing Demons.
Although I wouldn’t be surprised if for Luffy he doesn’t even think about it twice and to him the straw hats are his crew and he is Luffy. Likely this will be taken more seriously amongst the crew especially Zoro and Sanji who likely will see themselves as needing to each be able to take on multiple Elders at the same time let alone Emperors.

One thing I just noticed is how the letter D literally represents a Smile😭 :D, Odas symbolism is different .
Just keeping it real, it’s kinda ridiculous how morj doesn’t have double the subs he’s got
As part of his crew, one would be susceptible to Joyboy's effect on all others, the effect of making itgers laugh.
Nice great video, I also like that the strawhats resemble the connection of the sun rising over the horizon, so a new take on the dawn pirates. Very poetic!
When a theory sounds so good, you feel like you just got spoiled
Can't wait to see joyboy crew its gonna be lit
We will wait for Author Oda to confirm it.
I don’t think Lily switches sides.
I think she just had a responsibility to her country. The same way the Strawhats left Vivi at Alabasta because she still had to rebuild her country which is more important than being a pirate.
Breast milk
Or maybe Lily wasn't ruler of Alabasta at the time the war began and assumed it near the end. What if their was a Cobra like figure but he was deceived like how Crocodile deceived the nation. Lily would then try to undo the damage that her father did any way she could. I thinking Lily's story completely parallels Vivi's. I think she was allies with Joyboy even before the war but was unable to stop her kingdom from fighting the Ancient Kingdom. Her spreading the Ponoglyphs was her apology to Joyboy that her Kingdom went against him

Snake oil is the best baldness prevention remedy.
and why are all snakes bald? shouldn´t they have great hair then? :-)
Wooooooosh@@t.kersten7695
@@t.kersten7695No, it's a remedy for baldness prevention. It works because snakes have no hair
U sure?
This theory makes so much sense. Too much sense some would say…. Morj may be silenced soon lol
He might be executed for this.
Yep, i think it's pretty safe to say you're gonna be right on the money
Now i realized why Roger, Oden and Luffy, Momo can only hear the voice of zunesha.
Dammmmnnnn incredible theory
lol i dont like how much sense this makes, great video my guy.
Yooo this makes so much sense, how did nobody think of this before ?
morj you are so goated
18:41 I like this point you made, about them each being a new crew. I don't think luffy will be a descendant of joyboy, I think ace and roger were. Though when thinking of it it's very unlikely. I think it will be much more impactful if luffy wasn't, because then it would be not the literal descendants of the dawn pirates but those who carry the wills. I think each straw hat will parallel one of the dawn pirates in some way, and I really hope it isn't "they were all from legendary families!" It'd be more thematic if the experiences of people molded them into legends
i agree yeah i think oda’s been super cool about highlighting how somebody’s family name doesn’t have to define them with ace and roger
we know oda’s politically super well-read and that it informs his art. i’m reminded of the quote:
“Men make their own history, but they do not make it as they please; they do not make it under self-selected circumstances, but under circumstances existing already, given and transmitted from the past.
That was a smoker morj...keep doing ur thing
I think zunesha is more the parallel of laboon than like chopper. Laboon bashing his head into the wall , zunesha walking the ocean nothing waiting for their former friends or crew mates
Morj and Wano: The Analysis Uploaded
Late to this one, but when Blackbeard thought Whitebeard was about to kill him, he didn't smile.
Very good theory! An interesting follow up from it is that if Joyboy had a traitor in his crew and Oden had Kanjuro, the question will arise if there would also be a traitor in the Straw Hat Pirates. I bet Oda will play with this and put Usopp in a very tough situation to sell out the crew (like it was hinted in Wano) and Usopp will not fold, he will be loyal and become a great warrior of the see (even if it means he dies in the process).
nice, ODA will now watch this video and finally reveal DAWN PIRATES next chapter.
also for what it's worth, i think the "ancient kingdom" just is the pirate crew. joyboy was the pirate king. the "kingdom" wasnt actually a kingdom, it was just a dominant pirate crew, like a yonkou crew. it was probably more like the whitebeard pirates than alabasta
We're so close to getting Shimotsuki D. Ryuma
Mr Moda cooking like always
Lili's role is similar to Shinobu's in Wano. It was Shinobu that pread the word of Oden's deeds. It was also her that wasnt really a scabbard, but was made an honorary scabbard
18:00 that sounds like a busted crew damn. It would make the Rocks pirates look like a bunch of toddlers playing pirate games.
In a way, Oda confirmed that Blackbeard will die. And with a smile on his face likely due to achieving his goal or getting talk no jutsued by luffy's
I think haki has something to do with it too, how did joy boys knot haki bomb know not to hurt everyone who is connected to luffy?
This video just made me realize that the D could just represent a smile :D
It's always chilling for me whenever the topics like the D clan and how they have such an ability to withstand great punishment in battle and especially that special attribute where they all die with a smile on their face. Although I don't think Blackbeard has this trait.
It will be dope when luffy becomes king the spirit of Joyboy or Nika comes to congratulate Luffy at the end for achieving the goals and restoring the D. clan
I really like this theory and can definitely see it be true :)
Plot twist, Joyboy is just the protagonist of Romance Dawn lmao
Thats actually amazing
Joy Boy flashback gonna be greatness
oda gotta be mad frustrated having to change the story every time morj figures it out 😂
Omg I’m not even gonna watch anymore
This explanation answers it all
to support this theory i recall the moment when Sabo asked Ace about the D. and Ace said something like?
Do you want to have a D. in your name too from now on? Alright here you go!
i need to find it, I’m certain there was something like that
9:32 nefertari DD lily 😳
I think in the next arc robin will be reunited with her friend saw and he will help them find the last road poneglyph!!
Pretty sure Imu is the Man marked with the burn scar
@@CreamDelacream-sk8jm didn’t Captain Eustis kid said they’re looking for a man with a burnt scar!?!
@@calebcarver5082 i might missed that part, but isn't it logic that the World Goverment owns a Ponegliff for themselves to keep anyone from finding the One Piece, since Joyboy is also the Sun God Nika he might be the one who gave Imu that scar since the void century, anyway its just an theory i came across youtube, we'll just let Oda Cook and find out
@@CreamDelacream-sk8jm but remember at the reverie Imu enter a vault that has a giant straw hat in it and also Imu said Nefertari lily Vivi ancestor was the one that released all the poneglyph!!
@@calebcarver5082 yes She released them but Imu believed it was an error from Lily until Cobra told him/her she was a member of the 'D', maybe she left one on purpose in Marijoie so that Imu doesn't suspect a thing
HOLY DAMN. I jokingly theorized the D smile or the ":D" face was the meaning of The Will of D for YEARS. And I thought I was the only one who theorized this. XD
