I don't know if anyone else has noticed but Dry Bar has the nicest kind of funniest comedians throughout. Really top shelf channel man 👍
Yeah, they have rules to follow, they only allow clean comedy.
I would subscribe if they had more content. I watched almost their entire library while they were still free and that would have only been like 3 months worth of content max.
I really think drybar can position itself as THE comedy streaming app there's literally no competition in this market yet but for them to really take off they're going to have to get a lot more exclusive specials.

I agree. Too many people think vulgarity is funny. I for one, think vulgarity is disgusting. We used to call it "scat humor" because that's what it is. My wife and I are going to our first LIVE DryBar performance soon. I'm so excited. It's a triple-header, AND the tickets are quite affordable.

Is this really the same “Rodney Norman” or does Dry Bar in Utah have two comedies with the same name?? I’m confused because this was 3 years ago and the last one I watched of “I look like if Santa gave up!” It looks like a reverse Robin Williams in the movie Jumanji.

@@Utriedit215 You missed the point. The sound was low on this, so the ads werw LOUD. The commenter was not complaining about the ads themselves, just the volume of the upload.
BTW...is that $10 per month? Crazy! I'm not paying $120 per year so I don't have to see ads. I have better things to do with my money.

Why is the audio so quiet?
I hate when videos are way too quiet. I maxed out my speakers and could barely hear him, then turned to another video and nearly gave myself a heart attack.
I know. Especially the gym jokes, I blasted my ear drums.

For Pete's sake, the man is a comedian, and comedians poke fun at everyone. I doubt that he's trying to insult every A.D.H.D. kid out there. He actually has a nice clean act and he doesn't have to fill all of his time with just cursing. I don't care one way or the other, but that kind of comedy gets old.

I read the comments complaining about the sound. I did hear the volume go down when he started talking about his marriage. It was a bit lower but I was able to hear him with no problems.
I know. So much negativity. I’m just glad it’s free to watch. People need some laughing in their lives. They come to a comedy site and complain. Unreal.
Terrible sound, had to change volume constantly and then commercials were extremely loud

There were a lot of medical diagnosis that didn't "exist" for kids in the mid 50's until they did exist. ADHD, Depression, PTSD, the wide variety of learning disabilities and mental health disorders we recognize now. As a kid you found a way to keep up to the "normal" kids without bringing attention to yourself because that usually brought severe punishment if you didn't.
Both depression and PTSD were recognized long before the 50's. In the World Wars PTSD was "shell shock". I also worked in western medicine and it's clear that many diagnoses are made up. Just around the time that pharmaceutical medicines started being advertised on television. Why are pharm meds being advertised on TV to the patient?

I was born in 1954, i know the trauma and medical stupidity i had to live through in public schools and never once was Depression or PTSD even considered cause for my problems, I just needed to" toughen up", "straighten up and fly right", "not be so dramatic" even though i was being physically/mentally/emotionally abused by teachers and classmates.
Oh, they existed. We just struggled til we died.
We handled it by becoming addicts, isolation and suicides. The diagnosis of mental health comes from physical and psychological sickness. The brain is not healthy it’s chemistry is not balanced. And that affects our mind or how we view the many things we become. Until we

As someone who has ADHD, it exists alright. It's such a misunderstood disorder, like depression is, the public at large would never understand it. I go one day without my meds, nothing gets done and I'm left lost in my own little world. That's how severe it is for some people.
it is a neuriological disorder due mainly to low levels of dopamine. it’s always existed but the doctors didn’t know what to call it when you were a kid 50 years ago

Dry Bar: Please fix the audio 🙏 and reload this video 3:45 in and I find my self leaning into my phone to hear this. At first I had it playing through a Bluetooth speaker max volume and I couldn't step more than 3 feet away.

This is an old video. Just 9 years ago he normally looked like this. You can see videos of him like this on his RUclips channel. Now he looks like the Rodney we all know and love....

It did exist, it just wasn't studied as it is now. I have adhd and it's real. I friggin HATE it because of the stigma around it, but it's a real thing and I resent ppl saying a belt cures it. Sure, kids have to behave but there's a real issue that needs to more understood.

@@keilahhall1676 yeah I got punished as well. Not abused, just punished. I still deal with the non concentration, fidgety, forgetfulness. It's all good tho. I'm making it work. I hold down a full time job and I pay my bills, live a normal life. I just have to use post-it notes! 👍😉

Men have bad aim..yes we leave the seat up more than we should.. but as a young man I cleaned supermarkets and the women’s’ bathroom was consistently the nastiest, filthiest grossest mess covered in strings, women’s products and all manner of body fluids on the stall walls, floors and doors. I quit that job after one year and steadfastly refuse to clean women’s’ bathrooms ever again...it also helped me to go to uni and get my masters degree.
You couldn't PAY me enough to clean up after women. I don't know what they do at home, but I am constantly amazed (NOT in a good way...) at what they get up to in public restrooms - it's like they turn into a bunch of barnyard animals. 🤢🤮🤢

Exactly. I was looking in an encyclopedia at the adhd section, and it said that there were studies in the late 1800s, it just wasn’t well known.

No it is not. ADHD has been studied and documented and is real. It is a struggle to live with and it does not die down like how normal hyperactivity can die down from being tired or being calm. ADHD is a pain to live with and lasts a lifetime.
