Radahn wouldn't be a surprise if people read the items and listened to NPC dialogue. They straight up say they stole Mohg's corpse to resurrect Radahn to force him into being Miquela's consort.

Imagine someone who has never played a souls game ever. Decides to buy Elden Ring and its DLC, plays 80+ Hours, kills Radahn and Mohg, touches Miquella's Cocoon and ends up in the DLC playing another 50+ hours, then returns to finish the remainder of the game for another 20 hours. Mind Blowing. Elden Ring is a generation defining game.
I just beat this boss today, I put off watching this purely for spoilers. So glad I did, now I get to enjoy this video. Well done Max, this game is absolutely incredible.

I can relate. I was so sick of the boss when I beat it, I didn't even celebrate when I won. Eventually though, thinking back on it and rewatching both my own footage and others, it's one of my favorite bosses in the game. Sefond phase sucked, tho lmao
I love his design, and the idea of the fight. But I really think it's a little too much for me, at a point it's not even that fun, different from mesmer in my opinion which has more telegraphed attacks and shit. The process of learning didn't felt rewarding

imo what shuld haw happened is that you walk in to this flechy mess of Radahns and Mohgs Frankensitined ramains battering you untill the hafway point, then Miquella guides Godwin the Goldens Soul back, it shoots for the fleshy mess, Flash of light and hi apears, Perfect brandishing DEATH, hawing absorbes what his original body curently is, then Miquella embrasing him (like in this actual fight) and you hawing to fight death and holy combo. thats what i had hoped for. prity good fight regardless of my expectations.

You are fighting the body of Lorg Mohg, transformed into and possessed by Radahn, empowered by Miquella. Miquella dreamed of having Radahn as his consort before Radahn's mind was gone as a result of Scarlet Rot from the fight with Miquella's sister Malenia. Malenia never would have beaten Radahn without the scarlet rot, and even then it didn't kill him. In a way, since Miquella is essentially like Griffith, Radahn is like Guts, and this is a boss fight where you fight them together. I think it's a pretty neat cap off to a lot of the Kentaro Miura references we have seen throughout Miyazaki's work while also giving us the literal strongest enemy we could have fought (Though I know some fans would have liked a secret boss related to the Blackflame/Gloam-Eyed Queen (who could have also been one of Marika's alternate identities) and/or Godwyn's flesh becoming some sort of new outer god as a secret boss. The potential of whatever threat the Rune of Death is slowly becoming through Godwyn's flesh is interesting, but whatever Godwyn's flesh is becoming doesn't seem sentient so I doubt it'd ever become a boss, but who knows. It's merely Soulless, and can't have a soul due to how Ranni cursed his flesh when she killed him, and it's why she can't possess living flesh anymore and has to resort to puppets, so I guess if the flesh developed its own sentience.... But oh well. I'd love more Elden Ring content, but I'm fairly satisfied with what we got, pretty fantastic lore and setting, and lots of fun gameplay and exploration.
Can't help Capcom doing what they've done recently. Still the boss rage will be great even if we see a lot of it it. Those are so unique that it is worth the wait.
Still feel like soloing AT velkhana and fatalis is so much harder than consort radahn. Still have Isshin, demon of hatred and AT velkhana as the hardest bosses to ever face.

No Miquella is the bad guy for trying to mind control everyone.
You are fighting the body of Lorg Mohg, transformed into and possessed by Radahn, empowered by Miquella. Miquella dreamed of having Radahn as his consort before Radahn's mind was gone as a result of Scarlet Rot from the fight with Miquella's sister Malenia. Malenia never would have beaten Radahn without the scarlet rot, and even then it didn't kill him. In a way, since Miquella is essentially like Griffith, Radahn is like Guts, and this is a boss fight where you fight them together. I think it's a pretty neat cap off to a lot of the Kentaro Miura references we have seen throughout Miyazaki's work while also giving us the literal strongest enemy we could have fought (Though I know some fans would have liked a secret boss related to the Blackflame/Gloam-Eyed Queen (who could have also been one of Marika's alternate identities) and/or Godwyn's flesh becoming some sort of new outer god as a secret boss. The potential of whatever threat the Rune of Death is slowly becoming through Godwyn's flesh is interesting, but whatever Godwyn's flesh is becoming doesn't seem sentient so I doubt it'd ever become a boss, but who knows. It's merely Soulless, and can't have a soul due to how Ranni cursed his flesh when she killed him, and it's why she can't possess living flesh anymore and has to resort to puppets, so I guess if the flesh developed its own sentience....
But oh well. I'd love more Elden Ring content, but I'm fairly satisfied with what we got, pretty fantastic lore and setting, and lots of fun gameplay and exploration.
