That being said; the man has been dealing with injuries, has a family of 4 he wants to put first, and on top of that, is gone for a lot of the year, and working to rehab himself. There's a reason Washington let him walk. He was there for 6 years, and was a great player during his time. He's in his 30s now, dealing with constant injuries that you all act like he's inflicting on himself, and that he's keeping himself on IR, not the team doctors.

In his defense, he got messed up after the league banned him from using his ADHD meds. One of the issues with ADHD: depth perception is a little off. I don't think I need to explain to you why depth perception issues would make baseball more difficult.
The Pujols deal was never as bad as Angels fans whined about. The Angels knew what they were getting when he signed, it paid for itself with a giant TV deal. He had several very decent years, just not St. Louis Albert numbers. He was extremely hurt, and played through it.
