Shame on government. A Jeep Grand Cherokee cost around 60 lakh (70,000) here in Australia. Its almost 3 time expensive in Nepal. Why isn’t anyone complaining? Nepal is blessed with HYDROPOWER . Government should rather provide tax cuts for importing electric vehicles and reduce dependency on oil and other imports. People should be incentivised to use induction stove instead of gas stove.
