Love Matt Riddle, he is completely honest with his answers, and he accepts responsibility for his actions.
completely honest? you could see it clearly he was lying about why he got busted for drugs. It couldn't be cocaine because its out of your system in 2 days max. It was Juice obviously.
But at the same time.....at the end of the day, he's hurt a lot of people.

It's goanna take time for him to return to WWE but I'm whiling to support for the long road I've been a fan of matt riddle since 2016 but when he debuted in NXT(2018) (WWE) I was excited. Hopefully He comes back to WWE one day.

Great to hear from Riddle. I miss his character from WWE but watching this I see the why of it all and hopefully someday he could return to TV. At the time of his WWE release I could see him plateau. There’s almost a formula for WWE release besides doing something offensive - it’s being someone who stays low on the card who can’t be worked into interesting stories. Other guys who were fired at the same time shouldn’t come back (Dolph Ziggler, Ali) because I imagine them just failing just as hard. If Riddle returned they’d have to have an amazing idea for a story but he could pull it off for sure.

He’s very well spoken and smart, business-wise. Yes, he was irresponsible, but he was going through a rough divorce, false allegations (likely). He deserves more sympathy from fans imo, especially since he took accountability and it really isn’t any of our business. I’m glad it seems like he’s doing better and hopefully an interview like this helps others.

I met Matt a few times prior to his WWE run, at indies in Bristol and Cardiff UK. He was always a really nice guy. So much passion. Reminded me a lot of Chris Hero - but stoned obviously.
Sounds like a part-time WWE contract might make sense for him, a few years down the line. Until then, Matt is absolutely doing the right stuff to propel himself back into a wanted commodity - as he has done so before.

I gained a lot of respect for Matt. He was very open and a divorce can't be easy. He also mentioned that his wife was cheating on him while he's out there putting his body on the line. That was tough to hear. 😢
nice to see matt here, but, matt should have had the decency to inform rip rogers he couldnt do his interview on rips channel. left them hanging, no word from matt on anything. then shows up doing this interview. thats messed up. not the first time hes done this to ppl no matter how big or small they are.

I think people have been waiting for a lot of answers this interview has provided, and although we shouldn't care so much about his personal life, but it's good to have some clarity at least from his perspective about the things that have been going on with him.
Congrats on your new baby, Riddle! WWE really needs to consider bringing back Bro once he's had his family time. He really seems to have straightened out, but you know, he's a classic wrestler personality with the party attitude. It really plays into his persona. It's really impressive how mature he is about his ex, especially.
