If one loves driving, then go for Kicks over Creta or Seltos for sure ! If you want flashy features and gizmos then go for Seltos or Creta. This machine is purely for driving enthusiasts 😀
@@TheRanjini ironically its better to drive than kushaq. Sorry to say being a german car fans kushaq is more of a high priced jugaad than an actual sincere attempt from skoda. Better buy a skoda rapid instead

On the other hand duster has a nostalgia to it, but it's too old a model. Drive quality wise and power wise both are the same (best there is). Highway performance is impeccable, both are very capable and reliable vehicles. Ultimately it comes down to personal choice.
I booked both Duster & Kicks(both in their 1.3 Turbo avatars), however, eventually zeroed in on Duster. Unfortunately, Kicks rear seat particularly Leg/feet space didnt seem too convincing to me and i’m sure rear passenger will keep on wondering about the right spot to put the feet at during long journeys. In addition, thigh support is another area where kicks lags behind. On top of it, Duster’s rugged look & SuV-ish stance insisted me to opt for Duster. Availability of spares & Renault’s more widely spread Dealer/Service network adds up to its pros over Nissan.
In its BS 6 avatar, the Duster gets an all-new 1.3 litre Turbo Direct Injection petrol engine (TGDI), the same one which also powers the Mercedes A-class, the GLA and the entry level cars of the GLC class.
You can go with kicks without any doubt. Tbh kushaq isnt the most exciting to drive or feel. The interior does feels tacky and you can actually find a lot of cost cutting measures. Even if you go with it the performence engine cost around 18 lacs which takes it in the category of more bigger and plusher cars like hector compass and harrier. And kushaq does nit in any sense looks or feel like a 20 odd lac car. Same for taigun though quality levels can be slightly better. The worst part is drivability because the 3 cyl tsi engine just does not make justice to these SUVs. Its good for rapid or vento but lacks behind when deploy3d in an pseudo SUV. Where as nissan offers 4 cylinder engine on both its mule and they offer better drivability both in city and especially on highways. I mean its an altogheter different feeling driving the kicks . You feel driving a car which is segment or two different. The only downer is a rather blanr but solid buid quality. Even after 3 years of buying it i never heard any rsttling or squeking noise from the car . Not even a boot lid scitters which shows its ommaculate build quality. Talking about rest, well those cant be considered as CARS. They are nore of a placebo effect of SUVs or toy cars. Dont go by my wirds. Test drive kicks and creta back to back and you will get your answer. I know I said a bit too much than what was been asked but its disheartening to see such a wonderful product not getting the dues it deserves. Thats why we indians deserves hatchbaxk turned into SUVs like magnite kiger and punch

There is no hatred for Nissan as its other product MAGNITE is on high demand. Kicks ride quality and build quality is best in the segment.. No doubt. I have Kicks Turbo CVT. I shortlisted it after evaluating and driving VW Taigun, Creta, XUV 700 Ax5. The Kicks overall build quality, underbody protection, ground clearance, pickup and smooth ride, carpets quality etc., I liked the most. Moreover dealer has given discount in 2022 Jan plus attractive old car exchange deal.
@@pramodh17 If next generation comes then very good eagerly waiting . interior facelift I mean to say interior cabin quality changes like new music system they are giving the same one as in Kwid with better position of the reverse camera sunroof all the safety features etc. I hope you understand now what I mean to say
India hai bhai.. logon ko sirf interior aur features chahiye.. resale value aur mileage bhi chahiye.. drive quality, suspension, build quality, ground clearance aur safety nahi chahiye is desh ko
Are these decimal digit differences in performence and mileage really make a significant difference ? Most of the deiver dont drive in an insane manner or dont perform drag races on open hoghways or busy roads. Where these cars truly shines are their plaint ride and great deivability . And that what most deivers want
I don't why nissan kicks sell .. it marginally bigger than creta looks better than duster .. and offcourse as per value it offer much more than mid variants for 12xv lakhs u get most things such as alloy and acc while creta while give pony 1.5 na engine with just basic features

Nissan-Renault as Brands are not popular in India. At the same time its difficult to survive with only Petrol Option in Indian SUV segment. Both should have been offered at the present price of their 1.5 NA Petrol engine & should have discontinued 1.5 NA Petrol to improve sales nos. It was foolish to offer 1.3TC Petrol at the same price of outgoing efficient 1.5 Diesal engine. Indians has tagged KICKs as a failed in India because of low Sales nos. Primarily due to higher pricing at the launch in 2019 against king Creata. That was a huge mistake by Nissan inspite of poor Portfolio or Road presence & Service Network in India.
Both are duds now coz they're Turbo-CVT combo which is the only one to take on Creta/ Seltos siblings costs more than 13.5 Lacs ex showroom!!.. That's a kind of price you would pay for mordern, feature rich mordern cars n not for outdated cars like Duster!!.. Even Kicks needs an update and price revision badly.. The upcoming Skoda Kushaq cud offer its 1.0 ltr turbo with Torque Converter for just about 12-13 Lacs ex showroom for comparison!..

Nissan kicks has scored 3 star in euroncap and 4 star in asean ncap. So safety is far better than tin toys

Till now duster best . But need modern features .. I think Renault company have to think about duster . Duster is a Gems . 😊

Please advise whether to go for Nissan Kicks! Running 2000km/month. 50:50 Highway:City. Hilly driving too. 4-5 persons. Budget 12-17 lakhs. Reliability, Good Ride Quality & refined engine needed. Options are Nissan Kicks, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Hyundai Creta and Kia Saltos. Please advise..
