I got E11.621 L97.429 😕 Type 2 diabetes mellitus with foot ulcer, Non-pressure chronic ulcer of left heel and midfoot with unspecified severity Though I'm just barely entering self-study and using an app as a manual. Here it lists E11.622 as Type 2 diabetes mellitus with other skin ulcer ; but we know that it's left heel already...?
Your are a great teacher I have completed the courses and have received my diploma but I am still not comfortable enough to take the CPC test any suggestions that could help?
I had not experience in this field, either in diagnosing pt. However I was able to code all of them except the one 2nd code from the 2nd exercise (I Was about to): I had not experience in human conditions.
Thank God I found you in teaching myself not taking any courses at all I’m learning on my own and will take the test for certification on my own I’m learning from YOU MY LOVE
Becoz in that example says ulcer of left heel. And in E11.621 code there is code for foot ulcer so basically we needed left heel ulcer and there were not mention thats why we use E11.622 becoz its a type of skin ulcer n thats why .
Honestly it can be e11.621 because it allows us to use the same code range of L97.429 I asked a few coders and someone who runs billing and coding tests for aapc.
I want to code and not bill... but i see so many jobs looking for more than just coding? It kind of turned me away from coding... i do know its important to know about billing, but it isnt what i want to do. Are there other things that a medical coder needs to know to do?
Will the diabetic question where the person wasn’t a diabetic but the blood sugar went low. The answer you gave was not any of the multiple choice answers.
I finaly found someone who knows how to teach coding. Thank you!
Wow! Thank you!
Please do more videos like these. I love the refreshers.

Good morning Coach, you took me back for a refresher... it's always good to test my skills.. have a wonderful day!
This was a much needed confidence boost, thanks!
Hey Coach. I'm doing practice questions during our break. Why isn't number two E11.621 - foot ulcer?
I’m thinking because it’s a specific foot (L)
I got E11.621 L97.429 😕

Hi Ma'am,
Hope, you are doing well.
I have one doubt to get clarified. It is, can we apply modifier 26 for Radiologist's interpretation and Report?
Mam, please bring out such questions and also explain how to ensure all the codes that we are giving are correct mam.
what are those other numbers below the question?
Would you believe those are ICD-9-CM answers? That is what they are.
Your are a great teacher I have completed the courses and have received my diploma but I am still not comfortable enough to take the CPC test any suggestions that could help?

Im wanting to test myself to see if i want to get back into medical coding. But the only books i have are from 2019. Would that work?

I would definitely still try to code these questions with the 2019 book.
Cecile CeCe Yang, it will depend on the job. There are jobs that just require medical coding. Primarily in the hospital.
awsome explanation
Just like killerz and SRG, I also said E11.621 (which specifies foot ulcer) instead of .622 (other skin ulcer)
Thank you medam use ful video
