  • I recently created this awesome opal ring for a client and recorded the entire stone setting and hand engraving process. Then I edited it down from hours of footage to these ten minutes to share with you guys. Hope you enjoy this behind the scenes look into my process. Be sure to subscribe to my channel and like this video if you do! Thanks for watching!
I've been spending ALOT of time over the past few weeks learning this editing program. I have to say I'm having a blast with it and getting more comfortable with all of the features. A few years before I started making jewelry I wanted to shoot and edit recap videos for concerts and music festivals. I bought a Canon 7d to do so and then just ended up going on festival tour and never pursued the idea of making recap videos for some reason. Well I pulled the Canon 7D out of the closet and have been using it to get some amazing process shots. Feels so good to rediscover this passion and use it to show you guys how I create my art!
I've decided to switch from posting a video to my channel every week to every other week until I get faster at editing videos. I spent about eight hours editing this video and really can't spend an entire day every week editing videos. I would much rather post a high quality video every other week than try to rush out an ok video every week.
Don't forget to subscribe! 😁 It would really help me out! I'm really trying to get to 100 subscribers so that I can get a custom URL for my channel.

Would love to hear about your story of how you got into this? Maybe tips for people that would like to start and where to go for information, online and or types of classes, perhaps? Info on tools as well. Just an idea
