This one is 3times better than the MoonSwatch. I buy 3 of these against 1 "original". Love the fact that PD put in the Seiko VK movement. It's not only rocksolid, it feels realy like a mechanical chronograph. Next sale, I'll buy one.... Thanks!

I took a chance and bought one of these in the last sale. I wasn't expecting much, but I really like it. It doesn't wear as big as the dimensions would suggest, it's well finished, and looks incredible on-wrist. It's a great grab-and- go addition at an incredible price. My only negative is the movement; I hate 24 hour sub-dials for some reason. They just seem like a wasted opportunity. Would be over the moon if it was a 12-hr totalizer instead ( or even a tenth of second dial like the Bulova lunar pilot). Still, a great watch at the price. Highly recommend.

Yes the 24 hour dial is a waste. If it was adjustable independently it could have had a basic GMT function. But all it does it tells the same time twice on the same watch.
You can get a 2 dial version of the watch without the useless 24 hours..
I have one.... It's garbage. I got it as a gift and now I'll sell it. In my opinion Swatch and Omega should be ashamed to have put out such a disgusting excuse for a time piece. So I bought the 1701 cuz I was curious. I love it. A 3rd the price and 3 times the quality.... FOR SHAME OMEGA AND SWATCH! But you're laughing all the way to the bank aren't you... But just like today's actors and music artists you sold your soul to do it! Thanks for the review. I wear my Pagani daily. I bought a red and white nato strap and it looks amazing. Pagani keeps blowing my mind for the specs vs money!

@@ShinyThings I know I went hard on them but I guess I've come to expect certain things from Omega and the quality "or lack there of" in that moonwatch just isn't it! Omega has been a favorite brand for me. They are my grail watch so this hurt me on a personal level I guess.

I got this one last week and got it today. $58 USD shipped. It looks amazing in person. I bought a omega red and white silicone strap for it, waiting for it to arrive tomorrow.

Nice review! I just ordered the AK with the black bezel during the June sale for only USD60.75. This is my 3rd Pagani and I'm always amazed at the specs vs price.

For the first time, a homage watch that is 100 times better than the original MoonSwatch. With one third of the price of the original, this makes this watch a no-brainer. You don't have to wait for hours outside the Swatch shop and you end up with a much better watch.
The more I look at the Pagani Design PD-1701, the more nuts I think people are for letting Swatch swindle them. Pagani Design will be getting my purchase soon (just can't decide which one I like best).

It is a very good summer watch on red rubber. They have stepped up their game on most of their catalog.
On my wrist as I watch. I was really surprised by how much I like it and how it wears. The quality is outrageous for the $75 I paid for it. While I like the look of the bracelet, it feels cheap and I might snag a matching rubber/nylon strap for it. The nato it comes with is useless, unless you have a watch it matches to. Overall I'm glad I picked it up. Been balking at Pagani for a while since most of their stuff is homage, but this was different enough for me to justify. Great review!

I have Citizen watches over ~$400 that have bracelets that feel much cheaper!
I put it on a red ostrich leather strap and it' surprisingly becoming my favorite. I hesitated between this and the "original" black version and I'm glad I picked this one. The silvery dial is very nice.
I'm glad you reviewed this. The Omega/Swatch cash gab...collaboration is just not for me. That's why I own this watch and enjoy wearing it. Great looking, dependable, awesome quality for the price and NOT PLASTIC.
Just received the V3 and it impressed me I just bought this V3 from Amazon for $72 and put my Seiko Speedtimer up for sale lol
Honestly the Seiko doesn't have the mechanical snap back and while it is solar I can't justify keeping so many chronographs. This watch kicks the Moonswatch in the head and steals its lunch money.
Blows my mind the amount of quality at this price

I already have two Pagani Design watches.
I did not want a third one, because I have no intentions of collecting them, but the PD-1701 V5 "Red Planet" is so tempting (that silver tone dial is making me think twice).
I like the silver dust on the dial, it is very, very subtle though, kinda just right, imho 🙂
same situation here, but I pick the third and its this one haha, I have the daydate green dial and de yacht master rose gold
I bought the Mission to Mars and the Pagani copy. The Pagani is a much better watch.
Oh damn..... I just spent tons of cash this week but may have to get one 😮 Aagh!!

G'evening my friend ☕☕ 🤠 . This may just be the 2nd watch in my collection you helped me decide on, after the Sanda "square" a few years ago, and the first pagani. I need to decide between this or the BB Panda homage. This has a sapphire bezel insert & are coating and the BB has a vk64 & screw down pushers 🤔 . Any thoughts ? ..

See, Omega/Swatch? That wasn't that hard. A release like that from Omega/Swatch would've smashed everything out there, but no. They had to make it terrible.
