- Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Dollhouse) created Dr. Horribles Sing-Along Blog to create jobs during the 2007-08 Writers Strike. Self-funded by Whedon and the shows other writers and actors, Dr. Horrible became a pop cultural phenomenon and is one of the first of its kind to be Guild-covered. In this Angle On episode, the New Media guru explains how writers can take control of their own destinies.
It's interesting to hear directly from someone in the middle of the old media / New Media transition. You handle both media brilliantly, Joss! Keep it up.
It's weird how he opens his eyes one at a time at 0:38 xD
great interview - I've been just waking up to the new frontier out there. Have loved most any thing Mr Whedon has done - LOVED Dr Horrible - I hate to say genius - but...Actually, it's just exciting to see gifted people doing what they love.
That's actually humanly impossible, to focus on two streams of linguistic information at the same time. I don't know who made this up, but it really doesn't work at all.
oh well, I guess I had the 2 minutes to spare. LOL
Not a big fan, but I love you, Mr. Whedon.
All ya have to do is rewind and hit mute!

No it isn't.
I don't mind.
So great to get to see this. He's my hero!
Writers will have to talk with actors. The end of the world is near.
if you don't have time to watch it again to read the scroll, maybe you shouldn't be browsing youtube in the first place...
Humanly impossible?
Hey, cool! I have superhuman powers! Always wanted some of those...
Sarcasm, on youtube.
Well have you ever?
