    Great review. I bought the 2025 Activ in black about a month ago. But for anybody watching this, and I've seen it on other videos as well, the dealers are dropping the ball in makeready before delivery to the customer. If you look at the infotainment system when he's running through the features, the psi of the tires are in the high 40s. That's wrong . That's how they come when shipped to the dealer. My dealer missed it as well, and when I properly inflated the tires according to what's on the driver's door, 35 in the front, 32 in the rear, the ride quality was a ton better. All that said, just passed 3k and loving it so far. Great little vehicle.

      How did it go? Thinking about getting an Envista (which has the same engine) and needed to know how that engine handles on long road trips.

    Great review, I bought the IRS in April from Hornbeck Chevrolet in Northeast Pa. Best vehicle I ever had. A game changer in compact SUV market.

    Have the 2025 1RS. 1600 miles. No issues. Drives, rides very well. Had to emergency move out of the way today because of stupid driver blowing thru red light. It definitely can get out of its own way. This was first serious test of capability and it passed with flying colors

    People need to not hate on these 3 cylinders.. typically turbo engines have a lot of torque which is what you feel when accelerating. Also don't expect 200 horsepower out of a 20k car... That's not how it works.

    I think the new Trax is a whole lot better than the new one. I hate the old Trax, and the old Buick Encore. The new Trax and Envista looks way better. The 2RS is how I would get a new Trax.

    I like this vehicle, but I have concerns about the long-term durability of the wet timing belt. I've seen reviews of other Chevy cars that have this type of belt, like the Chevy Onix, and it seems they start to break around 50,000 miles.

      They don't flicker. It's the camera's refresh rate that's making you see it that way because they're LEDs.

    Which tire size road better 19,18,or 17. They claim 19 inch wheels corner better and drive better. Did you notice a difference. Kia soul nissan kicks or chevy trax which drives better. Of its the way chevy trax looks better. I love ❤️ it

      You’d just be paying more for an Envista than a Trax since Buick is a “premium” name brand even though the Envista has the same engine as the Trax on all of its models.

      @@Cerby1979 I know, I just like the outer look a lot more and the more features it has, and they at least put a splash guard under it, my hood has only been popped maybe 5 times now and the engine looks like it got sprayed with dust and dirt, so going to put a trailblazer guard under it

      It's good enough for people on a budget and don't beat the engine. I don't like the idea either, but we need more affordable vehicles.

    • @Cerby1979
      @Cerby1979 Месяц назад

      You expecting a lot more for that price point? These vehicles are selling very well and my nearest Chevy dealership is having a hard time with getting in more Trax vehicles since they’re in high demand. Same goes for the Envista though not at a rate like the Trax but still leaving dealership lots.

    Tiny turbo and oil bath timing belt!

    • @bmw803
      @bmw803 6 месяцев назад

      I assume that the tiny 3 cylinder 300HP engine in the Corolla GR is ok??? I agree that this is stupid, but if not driven too hard and taken care of it should last for at least 10 years. But, the wet timing belt seems REALLY STOOPID.

    • @brandy7442
      @brandy7442 6 месяцев назад

      @@bmw803 I think it would be fine, but obviously understand that it has the potential for turbo replacement, engine issues and belt servicing. If you are okay with this going in then great. Others may want to spend a few more thousand bucks and potentially forego the above maintenance/replacement and get a non-turbo and timing chain vehicle (yes we know about timing chains).
