Great video. Have just picked up a TT pro28 in pretty bad condition. Has the wrong backplate fitted to it, looks like one off of a K5.9. Found this video to be of great help as looking for the correct plate. My engine seems to be a pro28BX-R which doesn't have the internal OWB and has a different starter shaft to the pro28D-R which is the engine your video shows.
They made a few variations of the TT/ASSOCIATED Pro engines. I just found out about a "racing" bump start version of the .21 a few months ago, right as the supply was drying up. They were like $90 bucks apiece, I bought two(one to check out, one for the collection) only to have my money refunded and told they were out of stock.
I'm about to make a video on the Venom Smart Temp, I'll touch upon the Molykote in the beginning of that video. Keep your eyes out for it, have a good one
Honestly, I would put the pro 28 in between the HPI f4.6(top) and the k4.6(bottom) But they are all pretty close. I'm not a big fan of the all metal carb, but it tunes well, makes good power and the starting system is robust. Nice find, thanks for watching.
