Hey Todd, was browsing ebay and noticed some nice hyper 7 sliding chassis. Didn't know if that would be of any interest to you. Take care and thank you for the informative content!
I appreciate it. I try to stay off of nitro eBay nowadays, I want everything! And the great deals are fewer and and far between. I do come across something now and then, I recent bought a cooling head lot at auction for a great deal. Thanks for watching!
Not a bad theory, and for the most part, I agree. But there has always been something in me that is frugal. I like being able to find lower cost options. Sometimes it worked out better than others, I spent years buying and testing cheap "high spec" servos before I realized, that is one place where it is best to spend the money to forgo the headaches. But I didn't find that when it came to engines. Some of my favorite buggy engines were "budget" ones. The Trackstars were really good to me. SH's have been really good to me. And one of the cheapest new engines you can still buy today, the hyper 3 port, was very good to me. I love my Novarossi and OS engines. But engines are one area where I cannot personally justify 4x the cost. And in my opinion, the main goal for all of us should be to keep burning nitro fuel. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately can’t get parts or engines for the SH PT21AO right now as they’re out of stock again. My crankcase cracked along the motor mount ear so we welded it, but that warped it. It’s a shame because I’m halfway through my 2nd piston/sleeve and I’ve got a 3rd one ready to go.
Have you seen the revised version on absolute hobbyz? 3 port and 5 port ive have good luck so far in a associated b3.2 on outdoor large track 10 minutes tanks plenty of power
I just found the one you have that has graphics on the crankcase. An Adam Drake 2 Competition Kingtair model Force engine. eBay. Maybe reach out to him with some questions?
my exsprions with force engines is good, there nothing special but normaly good engines . mosty rtr engines that is , but these pro .21 look verry fancy highend to bad the lost comprescion. last year i bod a force .17 cnc smallblock side exausht basic engine break in whent great havent run it muts after break in like 4 tanks compression is still oke
I remember when you were going over them . The piston does look like it's made of poor aluminum but it's hard to tell the connecting rod and bearing still tight ? I'm wondering if the connecting rod and pin . 😉🫡💯💪🤔

After watching your previous video, I almost ordered one from partcor model sport off EBay. Thankful I didn’t. Thanks for sharing!
Todd…. I think my theory is! People stop buying junk and spend money on a good old NovaRossi OS or any reputable company that backs there products!

Either inferior aluminum pistons or the sleeve was not honed correctly and ate the pistons.

@@perrysteingart9771 In a .26 running 30% I would run a cold or medium cold if running 20% medium cold or medium
I am using 20% fuel

Can i use siliconfat for seal o rings
I'm my opinion, there is no place on a nitro engine that a silicone o-ring is not superior to a rubber one.
They are garbage
Do you have personal experience with the engines? I'm holding out hope, but as of yet, I can't really argue with you.
