Return of the Living Dead main theme:
A R E Y O U S U R E A B O U T T H A T
If you like that kind of stuff, I suggest checking out the theme of the tyranids for the game "Dawn of War 2"
Tyrannids are basicly the flood, but more primordial. They come on a planet by giant bio-shio which "bearth" soldiers to crush whatever resistance there is. They then eat everything that exist on it, leave, repeat. Pretty neat.

I first experienced the Flood at 6 years old.
To this day, 20 years later… this theme still gives me the creeps when I’m playing Halo CE. Legendary
Okay, I don't normally comment on video's, but this was sent to me by a friend and I couldn't help but be reminded of my very first introduction of the flood. So, short little story time that can describe this perfectly with the panic and the fear Mr. Krabs is experiencing.
"Back in 2001, the beginning of the horror kick for a very young gamer. Their father would pick up a brand new Xbox and a game that would become the pinnacle of shooters for the young gamer. Said gamer was 7 years old at the time and could only play 'mature games' with parental supervision so to speak, which was fine. If the game was found to be too violent, or too 'mature' the gamer would not be allowed to pick it up and or touch it. Granted, at this time, game's 'weren't as 'violent' or 'vulgar' as they are now' (excluding certain titles like God of War and some of the heavier hitters, but that's besides the point) but would gradually progress over the years.
The young gamer would only really have to experience the initial levels of "Pillar of Autumn" up to "Assault on the Control Room" for a fair amount of time as those were the only levels that the poor individual could play up to due to time constraints and the like, outside of multiplayer with the family on the fathers side. Well, on a fateful day when the young gamer was allowed to play through the entire campaign with the Aunt and Uncle as they were baby sitting them, they would then discover what it meant to be 'truly horrified'. Said gamer got to the level "343 Guilty Spark" and proceeded to play through it normally with their Uncle. Their Uncle having already beaten the game on the hardest difficulty being 'Legendary' the Gamer would be playing on 'Legendary' With said Uncle for the added 'challenge'.
(Before the story continues, it would be prudent to note that the entire family was big into the horror genre, be it slasher films, monster films etc. etc. The young gamer at the time, absolutely couldn't take the horror films, and didn't like anything scary, as fitting for a Seven Year Old. Now, onto the fun part of the story....)
Upon reaching Pvt. Jenkins' Body and helmet, the young gamer was now experiencing anxiety and fear as everything leading up to the moment was quite scary to them. The Ghost 'friendlies', the Covenant running in fear, and just all in all the ambience of the game had kicked from being 'LET'S GO FUCK SHIT UP!' to 'Calm, eerily silent, and spooky'. Well, that was the be all and end all for the young Gamer as the moment the cutscene ended and up came the portion where the Chief would fight off wave after wave of Infection forms.... it was then that a traumatizing experience happened for the young gamer.
The Gamer's Aunt would soon Grab at their shoulders and begin screaming; "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, THEY ARE GOING TO EAT YOU! THEY ARE GOING TO KILL YOU! SHOOT THEM, SHOOT THEM 'Gamer'!" And at that moment a Combat Form leapt through the door and 'one shotted' the gamer. Which then prompted the Gamer to just throw the controller and run out of the room crying because of the horrifying experience.
Now... Fast Forwards to a decade later when the gamer was slowly evolving into loving Horror thanks to a game we all know and love called 'Dead Space'... Having beaten that game to it's completion for the Achievement and even going through the Hardest Difficulty, it had 'hardened' the young gamer to the point where they weren't so terrified of the 'Flood' any longer. But they would forever remember that fateful day when the 'True Fear' of the Flood was forever etched into their head."
Now, I know this was a long ass post, and many won't read it or will probably decide to take the typical internet response of trolling or trying to get a rise out of me by calling me a plethora of insults, I just want to thank those of you who did read and could possibly relate to such an experience and wish you all a very wonderful and lovely day. The introduction to the flood in Combat Evolved was not a surprise for me because I had already read the book about the events on the Halo ring. I didn’t appreciate how funny this was as a kid. But yelling at the people playing the scary music is genius
This video was uploaded a year ago what lol
@@walter2440 he means the original clip. Instead of doing anything to actually stop the clam Krabs just thinks telling the orchestra to stop will solve his problems.
@@toamatau8785 actually I think the music plays a big part lol remember when he gets the music to stop when he's orchestrating it himself to get that dollar back? The clam stops right in its tracks when the music does prompting krabs to jump for its tongue to get the dollar lol
im not seeing the genius in this to be honest. Just seems like a lackluster use of live action stock footage overlayed with animation.
How is that genius? 🤔

Thanks for the likes but seriously the song is still going....
Every 2000s kid's nightmare was indeed. The Library.
Me whenever I hear this music: "WHERE'S THE SHOTGUN?!?!"
Spongebob: What is it, more of Plankton?
Mr. Krabs: *worse...*

That Music When The Floods Are Coming Towards You:
"I'll have you know I died a thousand times playing the library on legendary last week, and I only cried for 20 minutes."
Only 20? Congrats 👏👏👏
Bruhhh I was 11. That mission on legendary changed something in me
I beat it in about an hour and I think I died about 30 times near the beginning and a couple times further in. The funny thing is the only reason I did it was to prove someone wrong who said I was lying on Instagram.

Indeed.
Ah hello verified man
That’s a stretch
It's nice but I wouldn't go that far
I once heard birds outside and they sounded just like this so I ran I ain't getting infected by the flood
When that music started. I immediately recoiled. That music just freaked me out.
Gotta be good music when it can simply make a strong reaction from simply playing.
Everybody gangsta till chief watches Jenkin’s helmet footage.
DAMMIT JENKINS
That was such a tense and wonderfully made scene
@@thatkidcgonzo yeah it always reminded me of the scene from aliens where the marines get ambushed by the aliens for the first time
To this day that footage still haunts me. That was the 1st time I played an FPS that went from fun to "oh s***". And i was playing co-op with my little brother. I can't imagine playing that alone for the 1st time.

I remember how terrified I was when Halo went from Covenant to suddenly a horror game. Scared the shit out of me when I was younger.
I've heard this song a billion times playing Halo: CE, but after reading The Flood I'm suddenly getting goosebumps, shivers up and down my spine, and PTSD of The Library. Who can relate?
My introduction to the Halo Universe was through reading the book The Flood then I played Combat Evolved there was no surprise but I daresay it made the game far scarier
I can still hear the noises, the flood crawling around beneath their skin. Yet somehow even worse, I see the image of death cross my visor...

My favorite moment of the Reach campaign was when I flattened an Elite with the forklift during Nightfall

I must say over the years I've had dreams where this music started playing nd suddenly im actually in the library with a shotgun
“Every Sailor knows that means death!”
They will soon find out that there’s a fate worst than death..
That's why I would absolutely shoot myself before fighting the Flood. Death is a better option.
I love how Master Chief is in the Navy so this fits perfectly
Wish it was edited so that Krabs is 343 Guilty Spark, Spongebob is BGV, and the dollar is the Index
